#1 Where is Jesus?
When evening came, his disciples went down to the sea, got into a boat, and started across the sea to Capernaum. It was now dark, and Jesus had not yet come to them.
John 6:16-1
When evening came, his disciples went down to the sea,

Where was Jesus?
Jesus had just fed the 5,000
Perceiving then that they were about to come and take him by force to make him king, Jesus withdrew again to the mountain by himself.
John 6:15
Jesus was in the mountains by himself.
“When evening came, his disciples went down to the sea, got into a boat, and started across the sea to Capernaum.”
Sometimes life feels like a “Sea” - And I feel like a boat trying to make it through this sea.
“It was now dark, and Jesus had not yet come to them”
Have you ever felt like life was dark?
Sickness
Family problems
Sometimes in this sea called life, you feel like Jesus is no where to be found.
#2 When life get’s rough
Have you ever felt like you were in boat and the sea was called “Life?”
When evening came, his disciples went down to the sea,
The sea became rough because a strong wind was blowing.
Have you ever felt like you were in boat and the sea was called “Life?”
Sometimes in life we can make decisions to fast!
When life becomes rough!
Life has a way to rock you… - A strong wind was blowing
#3 I’m Tired
When they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and coming near the boat, and they were frightened.

Doesn’t this sound like life…
Trying to row through the wind
Trying to row through waves
“They saw Jesus walking on the sea and coming near the boat, and they were frightened.”
They saw Jesus walking on the sea - Jesus always seen them while they were on the sea!
Just because you don’t feel like you can see him, does not mean he doesn’t see you…
#4 When Jesus Speaks
But he said to them, “It is I; do not be afraid.”
“It is I” - Three words that changes everything…
Do not be afraid -
#5 When Jesus Steps In Your Boat
Then they were glad to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land to which they were going.
Two things happen when Jesus steps in:
Thankfulness - “Then they were glad to take him into the boat”
When Jesus steps into your storms of life - It should produce Thankfulness
2. Immediately - “Immediately the boat was at the land to which they were going”
Immediately, everything changes.
Life is not the same!
My storm is over!
I made it to the other side!
