He will rejoice, he will stay positive and focused about his deliverance. That deliverance is Gods will, but Paul will either be released or die and to Paul either way is joy because this will turn to his salvation or to the salvation of others.

21. TO LIVE IS CHRIST/ to die is gain
big statement there that we as Christians should completely grasp. Paul isnt to life for Christ. no hes lived so much for Christ right now that only to live Is christ.
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
vs 24 it is necessary for Christians to do fulfill their duties

vs 27 Let your life be worthy of that of Christ. Christ was perfect so anything you do less than that is it unworthy. NO you cant be perfect. but through Christ you can be great. you can overcome sin you can live for him.

vs 29. not only believe in Him but you should also suffer, Paul is telling Phillilpi to fight, stand their ground. they may be put in prison or they may die. So how do we suffer for Christ today?
Changing your lifestyle, friends, job, school,
you suffer being scared to witness
other Christians go out today to be missionaries and suffer in like ways as Paul is mentioning here. But as we dont have to be scared of death for Living for Christ. as we mentioned last week with the advancement of the gospel we still dont use our sources to do so
