1 Peter 4:10 (NKJV) 10 iAs each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, jas good stewards of kthe manifold grace of God. 1 1 Peter 4:10 (AMP) 10 As each of you has received a gift (a particular spiritual talent, a gracious divine endowment), employ it for one another as [befits] good trustees of God’s many-sided grace [faithful stewards of the zextremely diverse powers and gifts granted to Christians by unmerited favor]. 2 James 1:17 (NKJV) 17 pEvery good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, qwith whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. 3 1 Corinthians 7:7 (NKJV) 7 For fI wish that all men were even as I myself. But each one has his own gift from God, one in this manner and another in that.4 Romans 12:4–7 (NKJV) 4 For ias we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, 5 so jwe, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. 6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is kgiven to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us lprophesy in proportion to our faith; 7 or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; mhe who teaches, in teaching; 5 Genesis 18:1–8 (NKJV) The Son of Promise 18 Then the Lord appeared to him by 1the aterebinth trees of Mamre, as he was sitting in the tent door in the heat of the day. 2 bSo he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, three men were standing by him; cand when he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them, and bowed himself to the ground, 3 and said, “My Lord, if I have now found favor in Your sight, do not pass on by Your servant. 4 Please let da little water be brought, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree. 5 And eI will bring a morsel of bread, that fyou may refresh your hearts. After that you may pass by, ginasmuch as you have come to your servant.” They said, “Do as you have said.” 6 So Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah and said, “Quickly, make ready three measures of fine meal; knead it and make cakes.” 7 And Abraham ran to the herd, took a tender and good calf, gave it to a young man, and he hastened to prepare it. 8 So hhe took butter and milk and the calf which he had prepared, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree as they ate.6 Romans 12:7 (NKJV) 7 or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; mhe who teaches, in teaching; 7 Romans 12:3 (NKJV) Serve God with Spiritual Gifts 3 For I say, fthrough the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, gnot to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt hto each one a measure of faith. 8 Romans 12:6 (NKJV) 6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is kgiven to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us lprophesy in proportion to our faith; 9 Romans 12:8 (NKJV) 8 nhe who exhorts, in exhortation; ohe who gives, with liberality; phe who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, qwith cheerfulness.10 2 Chronicles 30:1–6 (NKJV) Hezekiah Keeps the Passover 30 And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and also wrote letters to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of the Lord at Jerusalem, to keep the Passover to the Lord God of Israel. 2 For the king and his leaders and all the assembly in Jerusalem had agreed to keep the Passover in the second amonth. 3 For they could not keep it bat 1the regular time, cbecause a sufficient number of priests had not consecrated themselves, nor had the people gathered together at Jerusalem. 4 And the matter pleased the king and all the assembly. 5 So they 2resolved to make a proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba to Dan, that they should come to keep the Passover to the Lord God of Israel at Jerusalem, since they had not done it for a long time in the prescribed manner. 6 Then the drunners went throughout all Israel and Judah with the letters from the king and his leaders, and spoke according to the command of the king: “Children of Israel, ereturn to the Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel; then He will return to the remnant of you who have escaped from the hand of fthe kings of gAssyria. 11 Philemon 4–7 (NKJV) Philemon’s Love and Faith 4 cI thank my God, making mention of you always in my prayers, 5 dhearing of your love and faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and toward all the saints, 6 that the sharing of your faith may become effective eby the acknowledgment of fevery good thing which is in 2you in Christ Jesus. 7 For we 3have great 4joy and 5consolation in your love, because the 6hearts of the saints have been refreshed by you, brother.12
