The Identity of Truth

Through out all mankind God’s identity has been attacked.
Yet all along Father remains True, steadfast, and the same yesterday, today and forever.
Mankind’s perception of God has always varied.
Some say God is angry. Some say God is an abusive father, Some say God wants to keep us small or in the dark. Some say God is a god of rules. Some say God is never there. Some say God will not be there for you. Some say God is made in man’s image.
Moses and the laws.
The kings of God’s people.
The flood
Jesus making a whip.
Jesus calling a disciple satin.
Jesus saying eat my flesh drink my blood.
Jesus calling people like their father the devil.
Ananias and Sapphira being struck dead for lying. (Act 5 :1-11)
Paul saying to woman be silent in church........
Looking at both old and new testament through our perspectives will always lead to death in our lives...
God is Love.
God is the Word.
God is Good.
Jesus is the first time that God was represented in Truth.
John 1:14 NASB95
14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.
What to we get from this?
The word became flesh, God, Love became flesh.
Love is God’s identity.
The way He demonstrated His true identity is through Grace and Truth.
The Word and Spirit
John 14:16–18 NASB95
16 “I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; 17 that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you. 18 “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
We need the Spirit of Truth to become whole.
We need grace and truth to become our true identity (love).
Orphan: someone not of his family, someone not of His name, someone not of His kind, someone not of Love’s kind.
Our True Identity is:
When the way of our being matches the Truth of His being.
Our identity is Love
Love’s Kind
The way we get to fully be whole, saved, alive is with Grace and Truth.
The way we become Love’s kind is by partnering with Grace and Truth.
When we look at the bible with our natural sight we can have a real hard time seeing God as Love.
I have found the purpose mankind.
Our purpose is to partner with Grace and Truth and to be in Love.
When we look at scripture with Holy Spirit (Grace) and Jesus(Truth) we discover love.
Your truth or my truth....
Truth = What is God Like.
Reality = what is true outside of perspective. Facts can help us see better, but the only one who sees reality is God.
We all see in part.... (1 cor 13:9)
Perspective creates reality we live in.
Perspective shapes the emotions we feel.
You cant get the whole perspective or paradigm on our own even if you eat from the tree of knowing all right and wrong.
The only way to see accurately, is to be in relationship with Holy Spirit and Jesus and be in Love.
Sin is a false narrative or lie of who are.
How do you know when you are in sin?
Sin being believing the lie.
Sin or the lie produces death.
You are in the lie when you try to change what you don’t have authority for.
When you try to change how others perceive you.
I am a bad parent if my kids don’t listen.
I am a bad christian if I don’t look like love.
Before you go into a situation where you are tempted by lies say your purpose.
When we stay in authority of our purpose, life will happen.
Remind yourself your purpose is to partner with Grace and Truth and be Love.
Grace and Truth cause your false narrative to die so you may come alive in Love.
When you partner with Truth and Grace, sin dies and you born into Love.
When Jesus died up on that cross, the lie of who He was died and the lie about all of us died.
You cant see God in His true nature, Love, through your own eyes.
Holy Spirit and Jesus, Grace and Truth, Word and Spirit, Truth and Love.
Saul saw Jesus as a threat to God’s way.
He was looking with his own sight and with the sight of the culture of the times.
Jesus was killed because of a false perception of who He was.
That image had to die so the Truth could rise again.
Today people are seeing who Jesus really is.

When we connect, trust, partner, abide in, dwell in, have confidence in, have relationship with Truth and Grace we become one with Love.
Jesus, Holy Spirit, we become one with Father.
Closing:
Psalm 85:9–13 NASB95
9 Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him, That glory may dwell in our land. 10 Lovingkindness and truth have met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed each other. 11 Truth springs from the earth, And righteousness looks down from heaven. 12 Indeed, the Lord will give what is good, And our land will yield its produce. 13 Righteousness will go before Him And will make His footsteps into a way.
The only way to become Love's Kind is through Grace and Truth.
