Recap
We have established through our study of the book of Micah that humanity is hopelessly in need of God’s grace and love.
The only way for any of us to accomplish God’s plan in our life is to Return to Zion, to return to God’s presence, return to Jesus.
But how does one go from being engulfed in sin to basking in God’s love and grace?
How does one return to God? How does one find the creator of the universe when they feel so small?
We
We all experience a feeling of being small.
Maybe not in the physical sense, but definitely in the spiritual sense.
There is no character in the Bible who had too much spiritual strength.
Every single person needed strength from on high.
Moses, David, Esther, even Jesus needed additional strength that only the Holy Spirit could give him.
Its one thing to understand and know our need for God’s love and immense grace.
Its completely different to know how to receive those things and believe that you have them.
Prayer
Father, this morning/evening we are seeking you and everything you have to offer us.
This weekend we have recognized our great need for your grace to cover our sin and completely transform our lives.
We want to ask one thing of you today.
That you would make our paths straight and clear.
That we could come into your presence and receive a blessing from your throne of grace.
In Jesus name, Amen.
