I. Recap
The tongue (last week)
What is it
The literal purpose of the tongue
One day, an African chief told one of his servants to bring him the best meat from the market.
The servant bought him a tongue.
The next day the chief told the servant to bring him the worst meat from the market.
The servant bought him a tongue again.
“what is this?” asked the chief.
“For when I ask you to bring me the best meat, you bring me a tongue.
And when I asked for the worse meat you bring me a tongue, what is this?”
The servant answers the chief, “sometimes a man is very unhappy because of his tongue and sometimes his tongue makes very happy.”
“you are very right,” said the chief.
Let us be the masters of our tongue.”
