NICENE CREED
We believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty
maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father.
Through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven:
by the power of the Holy Spirit
he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried.
On the third day he rose again
in accordance with the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of Life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
With the Father and the Son he is worshipped and glorified.
He has spoken through the Prophets.
We believe in one holy universal and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come.
Amen.
IN JESUS NAME - Israel Houghton
God is fighting for us

Carrying our burdens
Covering our shame

We will not be shaken
We will not be moved
Jesus You are here
I will live, I will not die
The resurrection power of Christ
Alive in me and I am free
In Jesus' Name
Carrying our burdens
Covering our shame
He has overcome
Yes He has overcome
We will not be shaken
We will be moved
Jesus You are here
I will live, I will not die
The resurrection power of Christ
Alive in me and I am free
In Jesus' Name
I will live, I will not die
I will declare and lift You high
Christ revealed and I am healed
In Jesus' Name
God is fighting for us
Pushing back the darkness
Lighting up the Kingdom
That cannot be shaken
In the Name of Jesus
Enemy's defeated
And we will shout it out
Shout it out
I will live, I will not die
The resurrection power of Christ
Alive in me and I am free
In Jesus' Name
I will live, I will not die
I will declare and lift You high
Christ revealed and I am healed
In Jesus' Name, in Jesus' Name

N THE NAME OF JESUS ENEMIES DEFEATED
THE GREATEST ENEMY IS THE ENEMY OF DEATH AND CHRIST HAS DEFEATED DEATH.
SO THAT IN THIS LIFE WE HAVE HOPE…A HOPE THAT TRANSCENDS OUR CIRCUMSTANCES AND TRIALS – THAT HOPE IS THE REALITY AND THE POWER OF THE RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST.
PAUL SAYS THIS IN
1 thes 4
THIS IS OUR ENCOURAGEMENT TO ONE ANOTHER: NOT THAT THINGS WILL BE EASY OR GOOD ALL OF THE TIME, BUT THAT ONE DAY, JESUS WILL RETURN AND TAKE US FROM ALL OF OUR GRIEF AND PAIN AND WE WILL LIVE WITH HIM FOR ALL OF ETERNITY: THE OLD FOLKS USED TO SING IT IN A HYMN CALLED I’LL FLY AWAY
I'll fly away, oh glory
