The people of Israel have been freed from slavery and in Exodus 20 they're given the 10 Commandments - a new way of relating to God and to one another. The 10 Commandments are more than a list of rules for us to follow. Instead, they give us a glimpse of the character of God Himself and help us to see how we can better reflect His image. We're also reminded that even though we can never fulfill the 10 Commandments, Jesus did!
