Introduction:
Have you ever seen that show “America’s Dumbest Criminals?” It is a show that is about 25 years old but it was at the top of the New York Times Best Sellers list; and it featured closed captioned footage of criminals doing stupid stuff - things like forgetting to put gas in the getaway car or making a clean getaway, only to realize they left the stolen goods in the store.
The show was funny because most of the mistakes they made seemed like obvious errors. Anybody should be able to see that and it made the criminals look incredibly stupid!
Well, thats how it is when we walk without wisdom in this world. It seems that everyone else can see our folly but us. We are America’s Dumbest People sometimes. The show seems to have been replaced by a more realistic, home-hitting show called People of Walmart that is not played out on TV, but in a Walmart near you and it features the fool as its main character.
Tonight, we are going to look at a very practical section of the Book of Ecclesiastes where Solomon gives some wised words to live by in this life under the sun. Let’s take a look.

Conclusion:
As we get near to the end of Ecclesiastes, the question we all need to ask is if we are walking wisely or not. Are we the fool? Have we not yet realized that this world doesn’t have much to offer us compared to the life to come? Have we realized that Jesus is the only way to get there?
If we want to know wisdom, we must know the One who is All-knowing. We must know the One who is infinitely wise beyond our ability to comprehend. We must make the wisest decision that we can make and choose to follow Christ as our Lord and Savior.
