When it comes to your faith of Jesus Christ:

Why the Hesitation

What causes us to keep our mouth close or silent?

Example: Lets look at the hesitation

You overhear someone speaking at work gas station saying “I can’t believe those Christians think that there is a God, Look at all the evil in the world.

- there in this moment you begin to process the statement you overheard: - your minds races through it wondering how to answer it - your heart begins to beat faster and faster - palms begin to sweat.

Then fear shuts the door!

Fear!

- I call them fear buttons - once you understand these buttons you will overcome the Fear - the devil wants to stop the progression of the hope and fulfillment of Jesus

Christ

So what is happening

- For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against evil, spiritual forces in the heavens.

So why does fear affect me?

Chances are you don’t have all the answers. I have been a Christian for 15 years and I don’t have all the answers.

Power of your testimony

What knowledge do you have of God? ( give me some examples )

when you run out to knowledge go to your tesimony

Your testimony put the flesh on the Gospel

Say something like this: That is a great question I don’t know, but I do know what God has done in my life, can I share with you my story?

No one comes to the Father except through me. - its only through the message of Jesus Christ that people have hope in eternal life, purpose of life, and true love - i know today there are some of you here that can testify of Jesus Christ changing your life - so my challenge for you is “BE THE MESSENGER” - and i know there are many here today that cannot testify of Jesus Christ - so my challenge for your “ what are you waiting for” - [ NIV] 28 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. - Come and Let God change you into a Messenger!
