Introduction:
Blessing! God’s favor and protection! Blessing! To bestow good of any kind upon. Blessing! Receiveing something undeserved or not expected.
We all would admit that blessing are something that all of us not only enjoy, but also something that we desire. When looking to receive a blessing, or to be a blessing we tend to think that it can only happen when things are well. We tend to look for blessings in areas that won’t cause us pain, but in areas that would seem to make us comfortable.
Blessings dont only come when things are good, but also in times of afflicition. When afflicition comes, our response is to run or retreat to a place of comfort or isolation, but what if you missed you blessing in your affliction because of your response to it? What if you missed you blessing in your afflicition because you compromised when you where there? What if you missed your blessing because while in afflicition, you made the wrong decision?
Listen, no matter how rough things get in your life, no matter how painful the afflicition may be one thing that you should know is that Even in our afflicition, Jesus is worthy of all honor.

Main Point: Even in our afflicition, Jesus is worthy of all honor.
To some this may seem a bit far fetched or even a bit elusive, but the fact still remains, even in affliction (anguish, grief, suffering, tribulation) Jesus is worthy of all honor.
I know what you are thinking… How can Jesus be worthy of honor when I’m in so much pain

Main Point: Even in our affliction, Jesus is worthy of all honor.
