“From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord’s name is to be praised” ().

I. Our Praise P-leases God

A. Many Christians fail to praise the Lord as they should. They forfeit blessings and displease God.

B. We win God’s approval when we recognize His greatness, goodness, and graciousness. We should praise Him often.

IV. Our Praise I-ncreases Love

A. Many Christians lack love for God and others, some of us “fake” it. We fail to recognize God’s sacrificial love for us. We seldom, “if ever” praise the Lord for His gifts.

B. The more we praise the Lord, the more we come to love Him and trust in Him. Praise brings an awareness of God’s blessings. Our love reaches out to others more when we praise God.

V. Our Praise S-erves Joyfully to our God

A. Some of us Christians serve the Lord grudgingly. Our time, talent, and treasures are given with an “attitude” and reluctantly.

B. We must serve the Lord joyfully and generously. We are capable of working, witnessing, loving and winning effectively when we praise Him daily.

3He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord.

VI.If and when our Praise... E-ndures Eternally

VI.If and when our Praise... E-ndures Eternally

A. Remember, all of our Earthly possessions are temporary. They wear out, corrode, rust, get lost, get stolen and deteriorate. Their use’s and values are limited.

B. Praise has lasting value. It endures eternally. The redeemed of the ages, the angels, all heaven and earth will praise Him. We should begin now.
