Praying for your Church

Local churches need prayer more then ever. One of my favorite verses to pray for a church is
Acts 9:31 NASB95
31 So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria enjoyed peace, being built up; and going on in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it continued to increase.
This verse gives things to pray: That our local will, “enjoy peace” be “built up” go “on in the fear/reverence of the Lord,” go on in the comfort/power of the Holy Spirit,” and that will “continue to increase”. Pray for the churches in your city, county, and region similar to “all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria.”
There are many other verse to pray for your church. You can pray for: You church to become a house of prayer.
Isaiah 56:
Isaiah 56:7 NASB95
7 Even those I will bring to My holy mountain And make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be acceptable on My altar; For My house will be called a house of prayer for all the peoples.”
Matthew
Matthew 21:13 NASB95
13 And He said to them, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer’; but you are making it a robbersden.”
Pray for: God’s spirit to anoint your worship service.
Acts 4:31 NASB95
31 And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness.
