Isaiah 43:14–20 NLT
14 This is what the Lord says—your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “For your sakes I will send an army against Babylon, forcing the Babylonians to flee in those ships they are so proud of. 15 I am the Lord, your Holy One, Israel’s Creator and King. 16 I am the Lord, who opened a way through the waters, making a dry path through the sea. 17 I called forth the mighty army of Egypt with all its chariots and horses. I drew them beneath the waves, and they drowned, their lives snuffed out like a smoldering candlewick. 18 “But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. 19 For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. 20 The wild animals in the fields will thank me, the jackals and owls, too, for giving them water in the desert. Yes, I will make rivers in the dry wasteland so my chosen people can be refreshed.

1. God is always for you

Friends create comfort
Enemies create promotion

2. God makes a way for you

He made a way when He divided the waters
He made a way when the prophet was surrounded
He made a way when the enemy encamped against us
He is still able to make a way

3. Don’t live on yesterday’s blessing

Too many people are too busy looking backwards that they cannot see their future
Yesterday’s mountain top experience was preparation for tomorrows miracles
If yesterday was great tomorrow will be better
Each tomorrow is better than all yesterdays with God

4. Time to put a period on this chapter

Time to end it
You can’t move on until you put on period
Start a new chapter
Don’t let yesterday’s struggles keep you from tomorrows victories

5. God is doing something new

Some breakthroughs only come on the other side of a question
Jesus made disciples by questions (He asked 101 questions)
Information does not bring transformation, motivation produces transformation
Motivation comes from the heart
Motivation cones from the heart
Open your eyes to the new thing that God is doing
Get out of your comfort zone
Get into the God Zone - Something New
If it’s new, it is not familiar
You need faith to move in the new that God is doing
Enemies create promotion
