When a question of allegiance is presented to Rahab (security, her homeland, everything she knows and loves vs. a group of former slaves and current nomads), she chooses the less logical choice. Why? Because she trusts in the God of the Israelites who has already done the impossible for them. And with that, she gives us an example of how to live our lives when we are presented with how the world works vs. how the Kingdom of God works.
