Committing yourself to a godly marriage

Malachi 2:13–15 CSB
13 This is another thing you do. You are covering the Lord’s altar with tears, with weeping and groaning, because he no longer respects your offerings or receives them gladly from your hands. 14 And you ask, “Why?” Because even though the Lord has been a witness between you and the wife of your youth, you have acted treacherously against her. She was your marriage partner and your wife by covenant. 15 Didn’t God make them one and give them a portion of spirit? What is the one seeking? Godly offspring. So watch yourselves carefully, so that no one acts treacherously against the wife of his youth.
mal 2 13-
_____ and _____, do you agree with God that the outcome of your marriage must be godly children? Do you commit before God and this congregation to diligently seek the Lord in your marriage, daily ordering your life to fulfill the picture of marriage: Christ’s relationship with the church, and do you commit to walk by faith, trusting that God will produce from your godly marriage godly offspring?
Say, “We do.”

Committing yourself to Bible literacy

Talk about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Bind them as a sign on your hand and let them be a symbol on your forehead. 9 Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your city gates.
