Today we have come together to witness the joining of these two lives.
Today we have come together to witness the joining of these two lives. For them, out of the routine of ordinary life, the extraordinary has happened. They met each other, fell in love and are finalizing it with their wedding. A good marriage must be created. It is never being too old to hold hands. It’s remembering to say I love you every day and it is not just marrying the right person it’s being the right partner.

It is kind of interesting how I came to know both Autumn and Morgan
The first connection I had was with Autumns father Vincent. I met him at Crossroad church before we planted Relevant Church. And Vinney actually helped me remodel my house and we worked togehter on a few other projects. And then when we started the church about 3 and a half years ago. Robbie and Carter britton came through our doors and have been with us ever since. And when Morgan started attending I started hearing about a new girlfriend named Autumn, and found out that Autumn was Vinneys daughter, and she has come to Relevant for the last two or three years.
Let me say something about both Morgan and Autumn. I have found them to both be very dependable and hard working. In fact Autumn has helped us with our nursery for the last few years and it has been good for me, because when she says she will be there, she will be there.
I believe that the Lord supernaturally brought you two together
I believe tat he has big plans and purposes for you two in doing life together
What is Love?

The difference in the words for love
I would like to say a few words about marriage and the importance of what is taking place today. The world, culture, popular opinion, whatever you want to call it has dumbed-down or cheapened the sacredness of marriage. But when I tell you that this is a holy affair that is what I mean. Marriage originated in the mind of God Almighty. In fact in was the first institution, and the most important institution today. For as goes the family so goes culture. The reason we have so much hell in culture today is because Hell has leveled its forces against the family.
I want you to know that the Lord desires a passionate love to permeate your home. He has some exciting things in store for you but it is important that you keep Jesus at the forefront of your marriage.
Agape- Gods love, its not based on friendship, it is expressed in actions. Not based on feelings but on obedience. It is a sacrificial love
Ecclesiastes 4:9–12 ESV
9 Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. 10 For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! 11 Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? 12 And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
Two people together are better then one, because life is rough, things will hit you out of nowhere. And if one falls the other can help lift that person back up. But what do you do when life knocks the mess out of both of you? How do you get up from that? When there is a loss of a child. When there is a loss of a job and you are facing bankruptcy? When the grind of life has just taken the fight out of you and alcohol and pills turn out to be the only pleasure you have and eventually the joy is sucked out of even that That three fold cord that it is speaking of is the Lord Jesus Christ when He is invited into a household. He is the King of Kings and there is nonthing that suprises him or can overcome Him. A threefold cord is not easily broken
We are gathered here this evening, in the presence of God and of His company, to join BRIDE and GROOM in Holy Union, and bear witness to the miraculous power of love.
Two are better then one, makes sense, you have double the profit from the two. Two taking on the responcibilities of life togehter better then one. Yes.. makes sense. If one person gets knocked down you have the other person to help you get back up. But what do you do when life knocks both of you down? When hell levels its forces against the both of you and neither has the strength to get back up? What do you do when you lose a child and both parents are wasted? What do you do when circustances are not favorable and you are facing the loss of a home or possessions, maybe facing bankruptcy? What do you do when just the everyday grind of life zaps the strength and one spuce turns to drinking or tranquliozers? And eventually the strength of the other spuce begins to wain, there will be a breaking point… What do you do then? I tell you what to do, you intoduice that third cord the Lord Jesus into your home..
Love is our purpose in being here; it is the essence of who we are.
He is the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords. He never grows tired, he never grows weary. He is never surprised and his strength is never outmatched.
With Love as their foundation, marriage offers BRIDE and GROOM the opportunity to become their essence with one another.
Marriage is an art form that brings profound joy and demands great responsibility, awareness, and commitment.
We who partake of this occasion bind ourselves as witnesses to the journey of love that they are undertaking here.
Philia- brotherly love. This is where Philadelphia got its name the city of Brotherly love. But as a Cowboys fan i am not required to love Eagle fans
Certainly it is nich to have Brotherly love but this is not the Word that is used here.
Storge- natural affection between kinfolk
Eros- it is a romantic type of love
AGAPE- This is the love that transcends the natural emotion, the type of love that comes from God. It is the deepest type of love that there is. It is a type of love that
It is the Type of love described in Ecclisiastes
The best thing for them is tpo leave and cleave… From this day forward, parents no longer have the dominant say in your life
IN THE BIBLE THERE WERE ONLY THREE DIFFERENT WORDS USED FOR LOVE

phileō, spontaneous natural affection, with more feeling than reason, occurs some 25 times, with philadelphia (brotherly love) 5 times, and philia (friendship) only in James 4:4; storgē, natural affection between kinfolk, appears occasionally in compounds. By far the most frequent word is agapē, generally assumed to mean moral goodwill which proceeds from esteem, principle, or duty, rather than attraction or charm. Agapē means to love the undeserving, despite disappointment and rejection; the difference between agapaō and phileō is difficult to sustain in all passages. Agapē is especially appropriate for religious love. Agapē was long believed to be a Christian coinage, but pagan occurrences have recently been claimed. The verb agapaō was frequent in the Greek OT. Though agapē has more to do with moral principle than with inclination or liking, it never means the cold religious kindness shown from duty alone, as scriptural examples abundantly prove.

Storge- it is the type of love
