Mommy's Way

A man went to the store with his 3-year-old daughter in tow. Since he was just there to grab some essentials like milk and bread, he opted to save some time by not pushing a cart around the store.
"That's not the way Mommy does it," his daughter informed him.
"I know, dear, but Daddy's way is OK, too," he replied.
Leaving the store in the rain and without a cart, he carried the bag of groceries, his daughter, and the milk quickly to the car. Not wanting to set anything down on the wet ground, he set the jug of milk on top of the car, efficiently whisked open the car door with his now free hand, scooted the groceries in and set his daughter into the car seat in one swift motion. Then he hopped in himself.
"That's not the way Mommy does it," his daughter informed him again.
"Honey, there's more than one way to do things," he replied patiently. "Daddy's way is OK, too."
As they pulled out and headed down the street, he became aware of the scraping sound on the roof as the jug of milk slid down the length of the rooftop, bounced off the trunk of the car and splattered to the ground, sending a froth of white milk in every direction.
In the millisecond he took to process his mistake, his young daughter looked at him, and in a most serious voice said, "That's NOT the way Mommy does it."
As Parents WE can Relate to our mistakes with our Children Are you So Joyful that His way as The Father are so much better that Our best efforts as Parent's

Rom 8:28-39

This morning Allow me to start by asking a couple of Questions.
I wont ask you to raise your hand this morning
But I do want you to answer them to God Speak a quiet answer to God alone The reason I am asking you this is because how you answer will determine the rest of this message is true of you right now
Or is only a invitation to come to the Feast by Faith alone
The 2 Questions are based on
This is one of the greatest assurances of Gods love found in the Bible
But, But, there is always a But....
it has 2 qualifications attached to it
It is not true for everyone
This is not universally truth
This is truth that
For those who Love God
To those who are called according to His purpose
So here lies the question
Do you love God?
No one loves God perfectly in this Life
That is not the question
We all know there can be a real uniting love between a husband and wife mother or Father
brother or sister parent child without the love truly being perfect
So the question does not hinge on this
Rom 8:28-38
Romans 8:28–38 NKJV
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,
Is God your dearest Treasure?
Luke 12:34 NKJV
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Luke
That is to say this is where your love will be
Matthew 10:37 NKJV
He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.
He is trying to persuade us to love what is of Heaven not that is of the World
He is Calling you to treasure God above all other things in your life
Materials, Jobs, Relationships
So.... Do You love God? Is He your most valuable treasure?
Second Question Are You Called?
1 Corinthians 1:23 NKJV
but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness,
1
1 Corinthians 2:14 NKJV
But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
John 6:44 NKJV
No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.
John 3:16 NKJV
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Many regard Christ Crucified as Foolishness they just don't take it serious
But those that are Called those that are truly Children of God See in Him the Power....... The Wisdom...... of God Himself
They Love god with a passion He directs there morality, they desire to Love Him and Please Him
They Have been effectually Called
So I ask Again Have you been Called!
Is Christs death for Sinners Wisdom Power and Mercy for You
Or are you still asleep Dead like the world dead in dreams and illusions where Jesus is unimportant in today's times, He is Unexciting to You He in unattractive for your Heart and Mind
Can you honestly say God Is Good, CHRIST was Crucified For Me and In that I have His strength His power over my Sin over my will.
Now if you answered yes ..... Then the rest of this message will be glorious to you, Music to your ears, That you may meditate on His word for He is your Salvation
But........... There is always a But..... I know.... if you couldn't honestly say yes to God alone to the answers Then this message is even more relevant to you Because this is Where Christ shows His Glory offers Himself to you, Not merely as a Christmas present wrapped as a accessory to ones life. But Life its self
I care not who you are this morning. If you truly could not answer yes Hear His promise Cling to it put away your pride before man humble yourself before God himself that you may come from Death to life
NO ONE and Nothing Can Separate Us from the Love of Christ
My aim this Morning is to remind you........ to awaken you,.......... to the unshakable Love that Christ has For you.
No one has love you so much..... Not you parents , Spouse , or children No one
Those who answered yes this morning before God
Who sHall separate you from the Love of Christ?
Shall Tribulation? or any pressure or trouble
Shall Distress, Or any difficulty or Crisis
Shall Persecution< any opposition because of your faith or redicule or harrassment
Famine, any suffering due to scarcity or poverty
Nakedness any assault or shame
Shall Peril- any Danger or threat even to the point of Death
To those who said Yes What shall take away the Love of Christ Nothing
None of these
Paul answers in Vs
37 but in all these thing we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who Loved Us
So Not only can we not be separated from the Love of Christ
But His love is so powerful for you that at all times through all circumstance You will triumph
So this morning I am here to Remind you to encourage you to Grasp this and it will grasp you
The Love Of Christ: The root of our Love for one another
John 13:34 NKJV
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
John
John 1 NKJV
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’ ” And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him. Now this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?” He confessed, and did not deny, but confessed, “I am not the Christ.” And they asked him, “What then? Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not.” “Are you the Prophet?” And he answered, “No.” Then they said to him, “Who are you, that we may give an answer to those who sent us? What do you say about yourself?” He said: “I am ‘The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Make straight the way of the Lord,” ’ as the prophet Isaiah said.” Now those who were sent were from the Pharisees. And they asked him, saying, “Why then do you baptize if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?” John answered them, saying, “I baptize with water, but there stands One among you whom you do not know. It is He who, coming after me, is preferred before me, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose.” These things were done in Bethabara beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing. The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! This is He of whom I said, ‘After me comes a Man who is preferred before me, for He was before me.’ I did not know Him; but that He should be revealed to Israel, therefore I came baptizing with water.” And John bore witness, saying, “I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and He remained upon Him. I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’ And I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God.” Again, the next day, John stood with two of his disciples. And looking at Jesus as He walked, he said, “Behold the Lamb of God!” The two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus. Then Jesus turned, and seeing them following, said to them, “What do you seek?” They said to Him, “Rabbi” (which is to say, when translated, Teacher), “where are You staying?” He said to them, “Come and see.” They came and saw where He was staying, and remained with Him that day (now it was about the tenth hour). One of the two who heard John speak, and followed Him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother. He first found his own brother Simon, and said to him, “We have found the Messiah” (which is translated, the Christ). And he brought him to Jesus. Now when Jesus looked at him, He said, “You are Simon the son of Jonah. You shall be called Cephas” (which is translated, A Stone). The following day Jesus wanted to go to Galilee, and He found Philip and said to him, “Follow Me.” Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and also the prophets, wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.” And Nathanael said to him, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.” Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him, and said of him, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no deceit!” Nathanael said to Him, “How do You know me?” Jesus answered and said to him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.” Nathanael answered and said to Him, “Rabbi, You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!” Jesus answered and said to him, “Because I said to you, ‘I saw you under the fig tree,’ do you believe? You will see greater things than these.” And He said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.”
His Love for us first......... and ours is a echo of it.......
John 15:12–13 NKJV
This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
His Love for us is before and under our love for one another
This is deep deep love unshakable love
The Love that came through Calvary for you for you,,,, for me
-5:1
Ephesians 4:32–5:1 NKJV
And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.
All true love beguins with this
God in Christ loved us and Forgave us
then he adopted us calling you his children
Then he lavished his ongoing live on us in the Family
and now __and only now on the basis of all that he says
Imitate me
Being imitators of God as Loved Children
This is the Love of God that draws us out empowers us to be imitators of God that we may have true love for one another
It is because we as His children love the way our father is so we want to be like Him
1 John 3:16 NKJV
By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
John 3:16 NKJV
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
I love to talk about radical Christianity one that lays ones life down for his brother and this shown how radically secure we are in Gods Love
But it Begins in Him not in Us
1 John 4:10–11 NKJV
In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
1 John 4:10-11
This is the Focus this morning if He Loved you , You ought to love one another
We Must Be Gripped by Christs Love for us
:
The message this morning if we are to grow in our love for one another we must be gripped b the unshakable irresistible fierce love of Christ
The love of Christ Shown in
“Who can separate us from the Love of Christ”
We must be awestruck by His Love a Love so Fierce that no man can pluck you from His hand, That once you are a true Child of God He will not forsake you He will finish what He has begun in you
Philippians 1:6 NKJV
being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;
Phili 1:6
We Need to See That God Loved us so Much that He will go through Great lengths through all your trials to finish what He has started.
We need to know this see this hold to this
I feel there is a longing for us to grow closer With God closer with one another To Love Him more To love other more. First we must see His Love for us.
THIS Was Crucial part of Pauls Prayer
Ephesians 3:14–19 NKJV
For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
I saw a new way this passage takes us into the meaning of
God Is calling us into new depths of love for one another and most importantly with Him and even for those outside
If this is to happen we must see pauls prayer answered within this Church
Would you Join Me and make it a matter of earnest prayer that all of us grasp more what is it to be Loved by Christ that nothing can separate me from His Love
Then the Power to love one another will flow freely
