Excuses, excuses, excuses! That's what the Jews were giving in Jesus' day when their Messiah came and compelled them to come after Him. In the Parable of the Great Banquet, Jesus relays to us the danger of being left out because of our silly excuses when He holds a great banquet to welcome in those who have accepted His invitation to eternal life.
