2. SECOND TRIMESTER

Now you are beginning the life of faith

It’s all about BIRTHING your LIFE PURPOSE
a. NATURAL - Chaneyi. Body adjusts and Energy comes backii. A lot of relief – best time in pregnancy.iii. Looking awkward - clothes don’t fitiv. Starting to showv. CONNECTION WITH THE BABY…You start feeling the baby inside of you.vi. Is there something coming – or are you just fat?vii. Can’t sleep on your stomachviii. b. SPIRITUALi. This is where we begin to leave the life of self…1. In the beginning it was all about me…2. I need. I need… I need..ii. When we begin to live God’s way things get easieriii. Why do things get easier?You Are Learning Three Things1. Surrender 2. Repentance 3. Obedience1. Surrender…Not my will but yours be done2. Repentance…Renew my mind to think ONLY God’s thoughts3. Obedience…Because I trust you, I will do what you are telling me to do… even if it looks impossiblev. You begin the life of walking by faith and not by sightc. CHURCHi. As a church, things get easier because:1. We surrender to what God was trying to tell us all along2. We change our minds about what a church should operate like3. We obey what God is telling us to do.

WHAT HAVE WE LEARNED SO FAR?

3. THIRD TRIMESTER

Truly pregnant…Faith is now your lifestyle… Now you know you are supposed to give birth.a. NATURAL… Chaneyi. Now there’s no doubt about wether you are pregnant or notii. People begin to say…..How far are you along?iii. Fatigue comes backiv. A lot of discomfortv. Baby is growing and requiring lots of nutrition.vi. CONNECTION WITH BABY… The baby is strong inside of you and you begin to have a relationship with it.vii. Very uncomfortableviii. Belly is always in the wayix. Now you can’t sleep on your backx. Using pillows to prop up your stomach.xi. Head is lodged in your hips.xii. You know you’re supposed to give birth – you can feel it all the time.b. SPIRITUALi. You know for sure you are called to something bigger than yourself…! A BABY IS COMING!ii. You No longer fit in with the “crowd” You Are Different!1. You look different- you feel different. Born not of corruptible seed but of incorruptible seed

1. Relationship is the prerequisite to birthing life
a. Infatuation… could this be true
iii. A very difficult time! 1. Something needs to be birthed out of you, but it is scary and seems impossible.iv. Playing with sin and living for self is no longer an option1. I have been crucified with Christ

2. There has to be Revelation… There has to be an epiphany

4. Marriage… Epiphany and Choice must come together

iii. A difficult time because the baby hasn’t come
1. Uncomfortable because you know birth needs to happen but it hasn’t happened yet.iv. Becoming less focused on the church and more focused on the peoplev.
I am in travail until Until Christ is formed in you
1. Intimacy Leads to Pregnancy

2. Intimacy should be natural
1. There are cycles to your Christianity

2. God will kick you out of the nesta. It is for your goodb. It is for your faith
3. God will make it so that you have to grow in faith

5. A time comes when you know you MUST give birth soon!
4. You know when you are pregnant--- You feel it—others can see it.

3 Spiritual growth is leaving self -righteousness behind

We died to the law so that we could belong to another
Romans 7:1–6 NIV - Anglicised
Do you not know, brothers—for I am speaking to men who know the law—that the law has authority over a man only as long as he lives? For example, by law a married woman is bound to her husband as long as he is alive, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law of marriage. So then, if she marries another man while her husband is still alive, she is called an adulteress. But if her husband dies, she is released from that law and is not an adulteress, even though she marries another man. Kick out the slave woman and her son

4 Spiritual growth is the easiest way of living

Why do things get easier?Worry and anxiety means I trust me...Peace means I trust God

You are beginning to learn 3 things…

1. Surrender…Not my will but yours be done

2. Repentance…Renewing my mind to think ONLY God’s thoughts

Transformed by the renewing of your mind
