See How God Delivers and Provides!

2 Kings 7:3–11 KJV 1900
3 And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die? 4 If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die. 5 And they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they were come to the uttermost part of the camp of Syria, behold, there was no man there. 6 For the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us. 7 Wherefore they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents, and their horses, and their asses, even the camp as it was, and fled for their life. 8 And when these lepers came to the uttermost part of the camp, they went into one tent, and did eat and drink, and carried thence silver, and gold, and raiment, and went and hid it; and came again, and entered into another tent, and carried thence also, and went and hid it. 9 Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king’s household. 10 So they came and called unto the porter of the city: and they told them, saying, We came to the camp of the Syrians, and, behold, there was no man there, neither voice of man, but horses tied, and asses tied, and the tents as they were. 11 And he called the porters; and they told it to the king’s house within.
2 Kings 7:3-11
2 Kings 7:16 KJV 1900
16 And the people went out, and spoiled the tents of the Syrians. So a measure of fine flour was sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, according to the word of the Lord.
Today is part 4 of a 4 part series on the cycle of spiritual warfare.
Week #1 - Lord, Open Our Eyes
: 8-17
We have seen the first attack of the enemy and our eyes being opened to the angel army of fire around us.
Week #2 - How Do We Treat Our Enemies?
Week #2 - How Do We Treat Our Enemies?
2 Kings 6:18-23
Then we saw how we need to feed our perceived enemy, not just with physical food but more importantly with spiritual food which is the Word of God.
Romans 3:23 ESV
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Romans Week #3 - How Do We Think and Act When the Enemy Throws Everything At Us?
Without the redemptive blood of Jesus Christ, we are all dead.
John 10:10 ESV
10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
John 10Week #3 - How Do We Think and Act When the Enemy Throws Everything At Us?
Week #3 - How Do We Think and Act When the Enemy Throws Everything At Us?

We learned that during those times when our back is up against the wall, we must not blame God and depend on our own wisdom or should I say, lack of wisdom, but turn to God and He will give the answers.
Today - See How God Delivers and Provides!
The four lepers were desperate. They were faced with death on either side. Most miracles are birthed out of desperation. The miracles that I have experienced came out of desperation. Desperation to live, desperation, to have a drivers’ license, desperation to have a child, and desperation to be healed of a serious illness.
Let’s be honest. Having faith in what you can not see is hard work when what you can see seems so desperate. But that is exactly what we need to do.
Ephesians 6:13 ESV
13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.
Ephesians 6
Stand and watch the Glory of God move in your situation. The same power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead is the same power that will deliver and provide.
We are all a piece to the larger puzzle that God is putting together. I may be surrounded by the enemy and feel like I am fighting for my life. But there may be someone whom I do not even know who is desperate in their own battle and decides it is worth having faith in the impossible. That faith is what God will choose to work through to deliver and provide the impossible for them and me also.
Do you believe in the Lord of the Impossible?
A.W. TOZER. said “While it looks like things are out of control, behind the scenes there is a God who hasn't surrendered His authority.”
God can do the impossible. He can make other people hear something that is not there. He can make them believe something absurd in order to provide for His child.
2 Kings 7:6 ESV
6 For the Lord had made the army of the Syrians hear the sound of chariots and of horses, the sound of a great army, so that they said to one another, “Behold, the king of Israel has hired against us the kings of the Hittites and the kings of Egypt to come against us.”
Now just think about it. The city is besieged and people are starving. But the enemy with plenty of food and money believed that somehow the king was able to hire other countries to help them.
Conclusion:
When God delivers us and provides for us, we can not keep it to ourselves. We need to share. Go and tell the good news. Go and tell what you have seen and heard. Go and tell of the miracles that you have experienced.
Matthew 11:5 ESV
5 the blind receive their sight and the lame walk, lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised up, and the poor have good news preached to them.
Matthew 11:4 KJV 1900
4 Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see:
Matthew 11;5
What would of happened if the lepers did not tell the good news? The lepers were part of the piece to the puzzle. God chose to use the outcasts of society to bring food and money to the city. So much so, that deflation occurred. Food and products that were scarce and/or very expensive the 24 hours ago, were extremely cheap.
It is beyond anything we could ask or think when God shows up and delivers and provides. Stand on the Word of God and watch for the impossible.
