Getting The Truth!
I was raised to believe everything people says especially my elders.
I can tell you that it was one of the greatest mistakes i have ever had.
I was raised up in a pentecostal church .
Every Sunday I would here the preacher say all you have to do is ask God into your life and you shall be forgiven.
At the age of eleven I began to have issues with my legs that ended me up in the hospital several times for surgeries.
The Pastor of the church made me feel like I had done something to God to make him angry at me .
I listened to the pastor and wept not for God but for the hatred i had for God.
I hated him because i tried to find what i did to cause this in my life.
Asking questions such as why me?
Why are you doing this to me? why would you do this to a innocent child?
With all these questions I never recieved a answer.
The hatred for God pushed me further away from him into a world that wanted to swallow me up and it did.
I tried turning away from any god and then to the gods of Wicca.
I searched and searched to find the answers to the question why me.
Every where i searched every stone I turned Nothing!
I was blinded by the hatred that filled my soul.
Romans chapter 1 :18 -21 says The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.
20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
