Matt. 28:16-20
Matthew 28:16–20 NIV
Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Our view of God is too small when we ask God what is His will is for me. It is then that the Gospel becomes about me.
When I ask God what are He is doing in the world that I could be part of - the Gospel becomes about God and His glory and not about me.
There is great joy and freedom in our lives if we can commit to “make disciples as we are going”-
Married or single -
How big is your God - are you allowing him to do exceeding, abundantly beyond anything that you can ask or think. Paul says that this God is worthy of all of our praise and glory.

Great Commission is not about me asking god where He wants me to go. I will be going. Who is from state or country other than FL or US. As you are going and you will be going all of your life. - When you think of “going” don’t think of geography. Think of following after the heart of God. He is at work in the grocery store, nail salon, classroom, break room at work, China, Albania, Syria. Where is He going and that’s where I want to go?though this could be referring to another state or country it could also mean that as you join God where He is at work. That then is done 1 day at a time. Opportunities present themselves and God speaks to us through His word, through others, through circumstances - etc and then the HS confirms what it is that we are hearing. You will be going your entire life - He will reveal His plans for you

Cast of Characters - Jerry, Robbie, Norbu, Marci and Rich. Ask for 5 volunteers - 1 gal and 4 guys.
Jerry - first in his family to go to college
Robbie - small town outside of Wichita - dad sold insurance
Rich - farm boy from Nebraska. Very introverted when I first met him
Norbu - Buddhist from Tibet who went to college in China. distance between his city and city where he studied would be the distance from LA to NYC. (about 2800 miles)
Marci - rural OK - father teacher, coach and bi-vocational pastor.
(Isn’t is interesting that Norbu was an evangelist as he went.
HE IS THE ONE WITH POWER - All authority(power) was given to Jesus. What are the things that God is doing in and around you that are impossible for you to take credit for. Things that you would probably not even think about doing because they are so far out of your realm of thinking. They are exceeding abundantly beyond tyou thought or imagination.
HE WILL BE WITH US - If we join with him. He is with us always, even to the end of the age. When we are in a deep place of discouragement - He is with us.

Is He your Lord and Master? That simply means that you seek after God with all of your heart, soul, strength and mind.
If so, it is as you obey and follow Him (as you are going) that He will orchestrate all of the events of your life for your good and for His glory.

Simply put - it means saying yes before you know the question.
Are you willing and eager to make disciples as you are going. Our role in making disciples may be a prayer or a word spoken.
Peggy has been such a challenge to me - watching the natural and bold way that she is ready to speak about the Lord in everyday situations - - Lady unable to view her pictures on a recent cruise. (Saw her as we departed the ship and went and hugged her next.)
