because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.’

Introduction
Here to celebrate life and mourn passing of Marion
I did not have the pleasure of knowing MARION, but was a privilege to listen to FAMILY share the servant-like heart of MARION
What was made very clear from the very beginning of the meeting with the family was importance of PARTY
In keeping with theme, there are three parties that we can celebrate with Marion’s passing

“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.”
What a glory and joy to know that Jesus has prepared a place for MARION, and has now take her to that place.
MARION has moved on from the temporal life, graduating to life everlasting to worship her king
She leaves behind the frailties of this life for a life of perfection and joy

So is it with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable; what is raised is imperishable. It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power.
When we’ve been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise
Than when we first begun.
MARION now begins her first year of many, where she can stand before her God, singing her praises back to Him
MARION
The mark of time is an indication of pure joy and wonder of the privilege that we shall have in God’s presence

Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out, “Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready; it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure”— for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.
Rev 19.6-8

MARION has been clothed with the finest “linen, bright and pure”
Seen the importance of this recently in wife’s niece’s matric dance
Although this is a future event, we can celebrate today on behalf of MARION like we would on that morning we wake up on the day of the wedding
Her time is not this very minute, but her time has arrived for her make up to be put on, her hair to be twirled, and the joy anticipation to begin in her belly for when she will see her glorious husband!

To have a trust in Jesus allows this time, which all shall face, to be one of joy and celebration
Let the joy of MARION’s life temper your grief at her passing
Consider the joy of MARION’s life and evaluate if you have that same confidence and wonder
You heard me say to you, ‘I am going away, and I will come to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.
Let me finished with this reading:
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
Rev 21.4
