Ephesians
But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love that He had for us, made us alive with the Messiah even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace! Together with Christ Jesus He also raised us up and seated us in the heavens, so that in the coming ages He might display the immeasurable riches of His grace through His kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift— not from works, so that no one can boast. For we are His creation, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time so that we should walk in them.

Loved (v.4-5)
Loved (v.4-5)
The first 2 verses in this passage communicates just how much God loved us.
“For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.
The way that is worded wrecks me every single time. God GAVE his one and only son!
God loved me regardless. Sometimes I forget about the part of my life that was so hard to love.
For we too were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, enslaved by various passions and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, detesting one another.
But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love
for mankind appeared,
For we too were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, enslaved by various passions and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, detesting one another.
But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love
for mankind appeared,
He saved us —
not by works of righteousness that we had done,
but according to His mercy,
through the washing of regeneration
and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
He poured out this Spirit on us abundantly
through Jesus Christ our Savior,
For we too were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, enslaved by various passions and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, detesting one another.
Titus 3:3-
Maybe you are walking through a valley right now, but there is something that no one or nothing can take away from you, you are loved by the one who made you and spoke all of creation into existence.
Chosen (v.6-9)
Chosen (v.6-9)
You have been chosen as a recipient of the love, grace, and forgiveness of Christ Jesus.
and if children, also heirs —heirs of God and coheirs with Christ—seeing that we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.
For the mind-set of the flesh is hostile to God because it does not submit itself to God’s law, for it is unable to do so.
Romans
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood,
a holy nation, a people for His possession,
so that you may proclaim the praises
of the One who called you out of darkness
into His marvelous light.
When you didn’t want it
When you couldn’t earn it
When you tried to our run it
When you tried to hide from it
When you are chosen as a child of God who recieved the gift of eternity
Set Apart (v.10)
Set Apart (v.10)
Because of God’s love, he calls us to a high standard.
Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.
Indeed, the hairs of your head are all counted. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows!
I will praise You
because I have been remarkably and wonderfully made.
Your works are wonderful,
and I know this very well.
Galatians
and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
