1 Corinthians 2:6–10 NKJV

6 However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, 8 which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” 10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

Wisdom

This first book of Corinthians is written to the church at Corinth by the Apostle Paul as he tries to deal with problems that have arisen since the church has been planted. Paul was dealing with factions that have arisen supporting one preacher or the other rather than Christ. Christ was dealing with Christians who were as he called them “milk” Christians, those who had a superficial understanding of Christ. New Christians who had yet to take on the deeper meanings and mysteries of the Christian faith. Here, in this second chapter Paul begins to teach, on wisdom.

There is Human wisdom. This human wisdom changes from culture to culture. You know what is wise in mideastern culture might not be wise in a communist culture. five year Human wisdom changes from time period to time period. For even in the same culture what was thought of wise 50 to 75 years ago may not be wise today. It was not wise for Emmet Till to even look at a white woman in the south 75 years ago, yet today you can not only look if you choose but if the circumstances are right you can date or procreate or marry if you choose. I am not making any racial statement , I am only pointing out that what what is considered Human wisdom, is subject to change based on culture ,geography and time. Not only that Human wisdom changes on discoveries it makes

in biology, planetology , and other ologies, and these human discoveries just validate what God has already known from the beginning. God’s wisdom is not the wisdom of the politician , or a philosopher, nor learned preachers , but God’s wisdom is the knowledge of God and the knowledge of God’s plans. This knowledge is known only to God, and to those who know God!

God wisdom is not about cleverness, or pride but it is about the truth. The spiritual truth of God and his plans.

The very nature of God’s wisdom renders all other wisdom , of philosophers, politicians , inadequate because his knowledge has stood the test of time.

The good thing about God’s wisdom is that it is available to all christians, ou just have to have the desire to learn , study and accept the word. God wants us in the know and not in the dark that is why he has given us the word of God and has allowed us access to the spirit of God. For it must be remembered that without the indwelling of the spirit of God , you will not accept the wisdom of God. For as the scripture says those who don’t accept Christ think what we hold true as foolishness.

But as you mature in your belief of God and you allow the spirit of Go to teach you about the the son of god, and what God has for you , then you become a mature Christian, with access to the power of God. Some of us may be milk Christians not ready for the truth of God, don’t feel bad , there have bee those since the days that Christ walked the earth, that were not ready to accept.

Paul says that none of the rulers knew at the time Christ lived, because if they had known they would not have crucified him. If they only knew who it was that healed the sick!

If they only knew who it was that was able to raise the dead.

If they only knew who it was that multiplied the fish and loaves they would not have crucified our lord and savior. They would not have crucified the Lord of Glory. If they knew they would have been opening up the doors, and opening up the gate and letting in the King of Glory. Who is this King of glory ,the lord strong in battle is the King of Glory.Lift up your heads, oh ye gates, even lift them up ye everlasting doors, and the King of Glory shall come ,Who is this King of Glory, The Lord of Host is the King of Glory!

If only they knew ! But we must always remember, God’s wisdom can not be accepted by those without the spirit.

Spirit of God

But to those with the spirit may not know all the mysteries of God but they know enough to know that God is for real, Lord is good his mercy is everlasting and his truth endures to all generations. And when you worship the God is spirit and i truth , then you have faith in God , faith in his promises and faith in his deliverance. So you can read that 9th verse and understand that eye has not seen, ear has not heard and nor has it entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love hm.

You see ears and eyes deal with perception and sense observation., what you see and what you hear.

the heart or mind deal with reason or intellectual inquiry.

But what god has is spiritual and you must understand it on a spiritual level

You can’t perceive God’s Methods with human organs. When Elijah was being surrounded by the Arameans ,his servant said master what should we do, for we are surrounded. Elijah prayed Lord let him see what I see, that it was true that a host of Aramaens surrounded Elijah but unseen by the servant, and unseen by the Aramaens was a host of fiery chariots of the army of God.

There are spectrums of light that humans can’t see with the naked eye. They need special glasses or ocular equipment to see. There are decibels of sound that are beyond are hearing unless we use artificial means, in order to see what God has for you, to see your blessing you need something special. That special something is nothing but the Spirit of God.

The blessing of Salvation were prepared by the father, carried out by the son and applied by the spirit. The only way to know this is by the spirit, because it is the spirit that reveals the deep things of God.

Just like nobody knows your thoughts but you, the spirit of God knows God’s thoughts.But the spirit of God is available to you, for the spirit of God can give you spiritual wisdom by showing us Christ. It is the Christ in us that can understand and accept the workings of God.

Spiritual truths can only be understood by a spiritually prepared mind.

The truths of god are foolishness to a carnal mind. the only way to understand God is to submit to the spirit of God.

There are some very smart people who because they are not of the spirit will never understand the will and the way of God.

They is glory to be experienced in the spirit of God

there is power to be experienced in the spirit of God

There is joy to be experienced in the spirit of God

There is Jesus to be experienced in the Spirit of God.

Best is yet to come

The world will challenge you on your belief of God.

the world will challenge the word of god.

the world will try to discourage you

the world will Mock you

But I have to take back to an old Bill withers song

if you only knew , you would be wishing you were in my shoes!

For The best the world has to offer still does not compare to the glory of God.

For we know all things work for good for those who love jesus and are called according to his purpose.

It may not look like a good day, It may not feel like a good day. But God is working his plan and i know the best is yet to come. I know that if I trust him, that if I walk with him I will receive his blessings.

Anybody here understand where I am coming from. If I love him, If trust him , If I study him, I obey him,If I have faith in him then it will be alright!

If only you knew the plan, but you can learn the plan by following Jesus and doing his will.

Can i share something with you.

Satan was a power, a principality, he could as Job says go to and fro upon the earth, but since he was not part of God he didn’t know the plan.

Scripture tells us that even when Jesus was an infant the enemy was trying to kill him. Even in his ministry, the devil was trying to kill him. Abd on Calvary’s cross , the enemy because he was not of God thought that the cross was the defeat of Jesus. He had tried with Herod , to kill as a baby, he tried to get Jesus to throw himself off the highest pinnacle of the temple, he at times in the past tried to get the Jewish leaders to seize him, but that was not part of the plan. Satan did not know the plan the father had for the son. So on that afternoon when Jesus laid his head in his shoulders in that day when the he cried out into yours hands I commend my spirit. The devil thought he had upset God’s plans but the plan was the cross.

Crucifixion was the plan. My Jesus had to die on an old rugged cross for you and for me.

Jesus had to shed blood , for without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins

He had to give up the ghost so that he could defeat death.

If the enemy only knew it was part of the plan.

I don’t know why that was the plan,

I don’t know why it took three days

but I know that the plan came to gether on the third day.

For he rose on the third day with all power and that was part of the plan.

You are part of the plan

Your salvation is part of the plan

And i want you to know that eye has seen

And ear has not heard,

nor has it entered into the heat of man what God has for you.

eye has not seen

ear has not heard

nor has it entered in the heart of man

the blessing God has for you

Eye has not seen

Ears have not heard

it has not entered into the hearts of man the future God has for you

The answer to the question is yes

Do you love him Yes

Do you trust him Yes

Is there a plan yes

Is he a great god yes

Is he an awesome God yes

Is God good yes

All the time yes

For we walk by faith and not by sight.
