Reboot Your Belief

Our belief system is similar to a computers hard drive in that in can be written on and erased.

Its time for many of us to reboot our belief system

The Corrupted hard drive

After years of being connected to internet even the best computers can become corrupted with viruses from he world wide web

These virus enter the computer system and try to rewrite the computers memory and operating system

Each virus is trying to make an unauthorized change to the computer to change the use and effectiveness of the computer

If the viruses are not removed they will corrupt the data on the computers hard drive and make the computer ineffective

Peters belief system got corrupted

Why Protect your belief

Mark 9:14-

Mark 9:14–23 ESV

14 And when they came to the disciples, they saw a great crowd around them, and scribes arguing with them. 15 And immediately all the crowd, when they saw him, were greatly amazed and ran up to him and greeted him. 16 And he asked them, “What are you arguing about with them?” 17 And someone from the crowd answered him, “Teacher, I brought my son to you, for he has a spirit that makes him mute. 18 And whenever it seizes him, it throws him down, and he foams and grinds his teeth and becomes rigid. So I asked your disciples to cast it out, and they were not able.” 19 And he answered them, “O faithless generation, how long am I to be with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him to me.” 20 And they brought the boy to him. And when the spirit saw him, immediately it convulsed the boy, and he fell on the ground and rolled about, foaming at the mouth. 21 And Jesus asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?” And he said, “From childhood. 22 And it has often cast him into fire and into water, to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.” 23 And Jesus said to him, “ ‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.”

23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Mark 9:

What you believe is one of the most important foundations of your life.

What you believe shapes your mind, shapes your heart, and shapes your destiny

Your belief system must be protected the way one would protect a child

Matthew 21:22 KJV 1900

22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Math 21:22

There is a direct connection between what you believe and what you recieve

In order to keep your recieving right, you must keep your believing right

How to protect your belief

2 Corinthians 10:5 ESV

5 We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,

2 Cor 10:5

To protect your belief your must destroy argument in your mind agianst God

To protect your belief you must destory opinions that dont agree with Christ

To protect your belief you must bring your thoughts into captivity of your belief

What you believe shapes your mind, shapes your heart, and shapes your destiny

Your belief gets to the core of who and what you are and can determine what you will be
