Peace With God

Romans 5:1 KJV 1900

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

our carnal mind is at war with God

Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

I can fight all the devils in hell and stand a chance but I have none against God.

Peace Of God

Philippians 4:7–11 NKJV

and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you. But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last your care for me has flourished again; though you surely did care, but you lacked opportunity. God is all powerful

God cares about ME

God will never leave ME, nor forsake ME.

God Knew It Would Be Difficult…but POSSIBLE with Jesus!

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

We live in a world under the power of the evil one

And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.

If ye love me, keep my commandments.

The world hated Jesus.

If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?

What Am I Saying?

Life will have its difficulties. Strait and narrow is the path that leads to LIFE.

People won’t always like you. It’s ok, they didn’t always like Jesus.

We must do all we can to life in peace with others but be ok with it when it isn’t.

Good company when we are persecuted for our love for God.

Jesus didn’t avoid criticism, I won’t either.

Never give anyone so much control over you that you step out of your Christlike character.

My feelings won’t always lead me to the best decision. Be led by the Spirit.
