Wayne Horn
At his death He was surrounded by his family and many dear friends. Wayne's life was a living testimony of his love and devotion to Jesus Christ, His Lord and Savior. He asked every person he came in contact with if they knew Jesus because he wanted them to get to go to heaven. Anyone who met Wayne instantly loved him, and he loved everybody.
As Wayne's health declined over the next few years, Wayne got more consumed about the salvation of others.
Larry (Wayne) Horn, Jr., lovingly known as Wayne went to be with his loving Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, October 14,2019 in Houston, Texas at the age of 43. He grew up in Del Rio attending Del Rio schools. He graduated from Del Rio High School in 1995. The family moved then to Houston in August 1995.
Besides Jesus being his number one priority, and the love of his family and friends, his love for Dr. Holly Varner, Dr. Marc Catalano, Dr. Farzaneh Banki, nurses, technicians, aides, and everyone involved in the care of Wayne, he loved and considered them as part of his family. The two most important joyful times he looked forward to, were seeing his Southeast Memorial Herman Hospital family and listening to his music.

15 Precious in the sight of the Lord
Is the death of His saints.

8 We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.
2 Corinthians 5:
October 14,2019 Wayne left this mortal body and went to be with Jesus His Lord and savior.

13 “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.
14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
23 but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.
Matthew 5:

8 We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed—
13 but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

2. What would want: for me to share the gospel.
2. What would want: for me to share the gospel.
1 There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. 2 This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.”
3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
4 Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”
5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
9 Nicodemus answered and said to Him, “How can these things be?”
10 Jesus answered and said to him, “Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not know these things? 11 Most assuredly, I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness. 12 If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? 13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven. 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”
John 3:1-21

Jesus came to seek and save the lost.
Jesus came to seek and save the lost.
10 for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.”
Luke 1
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Romans
no Christian is saved by his works or feels Holier than you.
we all came to Jesus as sinners.
we are now saved by grace. we are no better than anyone else we are only forgiven.
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans
sin without Jesus will be separated from God.
28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned—
Romans 5
we all sinned in Adam. so we where born in sin and sin grew.
8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans
8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Revelation 13:8
Jesus made a way for us before the formation of the world.
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10:9-1
the gospel is simple:
I am a sinner
I need a savior
Christ died for me, Christ was blameless, i am blamed.
Christ died that I might live.
Christ died on A Roman Cross to cover my sin,
He would that no man would parish.
you can have salvation today! all that remains is for you to repent.
then receive Christ as lord and savior.

4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
8 You number my wanderings;
Put my tears into Your bottle;
Are they not in Your book?
closing prayer:
Lord we thank you for your presence in this place; we thank you for your comfort, we lift this family to you, we ask that you would touch there hearts. we ask that you would give them strength to grieve and move forward. we thank you for receiving Wayne and we long to see you both again.

13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
1 Thessalonians
55 “O Death, where is your sting?
O Hades, where is your victory?”
56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 15:55-5
