Joseph sold by his brothers ()
12 Then his brothers went to feed their father’s flock in Shechem. 13 And Israel said to Joseph, “Are not your brothers feeding the flock in Shechem? Come, I will send you to them.” So he said to him, “Here I am.” 14 Then he said to him, “Please go and see if it is well with your brothers and well with the flocks, and bring back word to me.” So he sent him out of the Valley of Hebron, and he went to Shechem. 15 Now a certain man found him, and there he was, wandering in the field. And the man asked him, saying, “What are you seeking?” 16 So he said, “I am seeking my brothers. Please tell me where they are feeding their flocks.” 17 And the man said, “They have departed from here, for I heard them say, ‘Let us go to Dothan.’ ” So Joseph went after his brothers and found them in Dothan. 18 Now when they saw him afar off, even before he came near them, they conspired against him to kill him. 19 Then they said to one another, “Look, this dreamer is coming! 20 Come therefore, let us now kill him and cast him into some pit; and we shall say, ‘Some wild beast has devoured him.’ We shall see what will become of his dreams!” 21 But Reuben heard it, and he delivered him out of their hands, and said, “Let us not kill him.” 22 And Reuben said to them, “Shed no blood, but cast him into this pit which is in the wilderness, and do not lay a hand on him”—that he might deliver him out of their hands, and bring him back to his father. 23 So it came to pass, when Joseph had come to his brothers, that they stripped Joseph of his tunic, the tunic of many colors that was on him. 24 Then they took him and cast him into a pit. And the pit was empty; there was no water in it. 25 And they sat down to eat a meal. Then they lifted their eyes and looked, and there was a company of Ishmaelites, coming from Gilead with their camels, bearing spices, balm, and myrrh, on their way to carry them down to Egypt. 26 So Judah said to his brothers, “What profit is there if we kill our brother and conceal his blood? 27 Come and let us sell him to the Ishmaelites, and let not our hand be upon him, for he is our brother and our flesh.” And his brothers listened. 28 Then Midianite traders passed by; so the brothers pulled Joseph up and lifted him out of the pit, and sold him to the Ishmaelites for twenty shekels of silver. And they took Joseph to Egypt. 29 Then Reuben returned to the pit, and indeed Joseph was not in the pit; and he tore his clothes. 30 And he returned to his brothers and said, “The lad is no more; and I, where shall I go?” 31 So they took Joseph’s tunic, killed a kid of the goats, and dipped the tunic in the blood. 32 Then they sent the tunic of many colors, and they brought it to their father and said, “We have found this. Do you know whether it is your son’s tunic or not?” 33 And he recognized it and said, “It is my son’s tunic. A wild beast has devoured him. Without doubt Joseph is torn to pieces.” 34 Then Jacob tore his clothes, put sackcloth on his waist, and mourned for his son many days. 35 And all his sons and all his daughters arose to comfort him; but he refused to be comforted, and he said, “For I shall go down into the grave to my son in mourning.” Thus his father wept for him. 36 Now the Midianites had sold him in Egypt to Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh and captain of the guard.

WHAT HAVE I DONE TO GOD?
WHAT HAVE I DONE TO GOD?
the 10 commandments tell us about what God wants us to be like.
To those who haven’t received God’s Mercy:
you have
1. You shall have no other gods before Me - have you rebelled against God?
2. You shall make no idols. - have you gave attention or love to something or someone more than God?
3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain. - have you ever spoken or thought against God?
4. Keep the Sabbath day holy. - do you dedicate time to the Lord
5. Honor your father and your mother.
6. You shall not murder.
15 Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.
7. You shall not commit adultery.
28 But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
Mathew 5:28
8. You shall not steal.
You shall not steal. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. You shall not covet.
9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor
10 .You shall not covet.
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
WHAT DO I DESERVE?
WHAT DO I DESERVE?
To be totally separated from God!
2 It’s your sins that have cut you off from God. Because of your sins, he has turned away and will not listen anymore.

(since theologically God is the source of all that is good)
Now Jesus paid the price
For those that have received mercy at some point:
(you have been forgiven by all your sins)
but do you take your forgiveness to live like the world.
Are you pushing God’s mercy to live like the world?
You can tell a Christians walk by the way they treat God’s Freedom or Grace?
Either God’s mercy is leading you to living free from sin or God’s mercy is used as an excuse to indulge in sin
For example is God’s forgiveness leading you to praise and worship or to cuss filled music?
Is God forgiveness leading you to live pure or is an excuse to be filthy and saying& doing things you should
Id God’s forgiveness leading you to watching things that edify your relationship with God or are you watching movies and shows you shouldn't.
Yeah okay your forgiven… God will forgive you but you are mocking Jesus
What I hate so much is a person who says they are a Christian leader but they lead people more into sin than to Jesus.
Be careful of who you follow or look up to.
If they are showing you things or making you listen to things that dont bring you closer to Jesus question them if they really are a leader of Jesus or a two faced snake.
The purpose of Jesus is for freedom from sin, it is freedom to live close to Jesus, it is freedom to be able to pray together, to worship together, not so that we can live like the life that was bondage to us.
47 Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.”
22 that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, 23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

Conclusion:
Conclusion:
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
1 Peter
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
7 Though your beginning was small, Yet your latter end would increase abundantly.
11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
31 Nevertheless in Your great mercy You did not utterly consume them nor forsake them; For You are God, gracious and merciful.
:31
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
18 “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. 19 Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.
22 Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. 24 “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I hope in Him!”

IF YOU WANT TO READ MORE OF GOD’s MERCY
A Song of Ascents. 1 I will lift up my eyes to the hills—From whence comes my help? 2 My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. 3 He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. 4 Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade at your right hand. 6 The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night. 7 The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. 8 The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore.
Psalm 121
About God God is merciful:
31 (for the Lord your God is a merciful God), He will not forsake you nor destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which He swore to them.
12 Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say: ‘Return, backsliding Israel,’ says the Lord; ‘I will not cause My anger to fall on you. For I am merciful,’ says the Lord; ‘I will not remain angry forever.
38 But He, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, And did not destroy them. Yes, many a time He turned His anger away, And did not stir up all His wrath;
