False Prophets
-Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to determine if they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
And Jesus says, “many false prophets will appear and will deceive many..” Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inside are vicious wolves-Matthew 7:15.
Two thousands years ago Jesus tells about the future, “Many false messaiahs and false prophets will appear, and will produce great signs and wonders in order to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosens ones ().
But you will recognize them by their fruits ().
What are their fruits?
“These prophets are telling lies in my name.
I did not send them or tell them to speak.
I did not give them any messages.
They prophesy of visions and revelations they have never seen or heard.
They speak foolishness made up in their own lying hearts.
Therefore, this is what the Lord says: I will punish these lying prophets, for they have spoken in my name even though I never sent them.
They say that no war or famine will come, but they themselves will die by war and famine!-.
Fruit is the lying spirit of the father of lies which is satan himself.
These false “prophets” said what the people wanted to hear.
False teachers earn fame and money by telling people what they want to hear, but they lead people away from God.
If we encourage false teachers, we are as guilty as they are.
Several years ago, I had to deal with a false prophet in the middle of the service.
She claimed to be the anointed one and that she was the one who god call to make changes in the church for the better.
There was a sister that brought her and was her biggest cheer leader.
On a weekday, I was leading the service and I started to pray for the service.
While I was praying you could hear her voice over mine.
Keep in mind, this was a spanish service and I was praying in English.
But I only was saying two words in english but I can not recall those words at this time.
While I was praying the Spirit of the Lord came down and shut that false prophet up.
After the service, people were saying how blessed they were and that they never experience something like that.
Another sister approached and told me how the false prophet was trying to pray over but she had to shut up when I opened my mouth.
Glory to God!!
We have conquered them, because the one who is in us is greater than the one who is in the world ().
Afterwards, people were telling this same person has been kicked of other churches for her wicked behavior.
Additionally, this person was living or shacking with someone who was not her husband.
In other words, she was fornicating and my Bible says, “ fornicators shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”()
By their fruits you shall recognize them ().
