The Battle for Power
The Battle for Power
There is a battle happening between kingdoms and Powers. The battle is for our soul.
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
The battle is for:
Primary Position of influence
Power that gives permission
Authority over dark things in people and space today.
Permission for vile, evil spiritual armies to invade “heavenly places” Perversion.
As it is written:
“For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:36
All these powers are trying to separate us from the love of God! Jesus Christ!
When Peter and John healed the lame man, many came running to them greatly amazed.

There was a shift of attention, influence. Peter and John received the attention but Peter immediately shifted their attention to Jesus.

But you denied the Holy One and the Just, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you, and killed the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses.
Not all who come to you, come with good intentions.
Jesus the Prince of Life! power to give life! was rejected and they chose a murderer instead.
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
The reality of the Power struggle over your life.
We need to understand the weapons that we are given to fight this battle.

Believe by faith and repent

There needs to be a shift of Power in our life!

There is a battle for dominion. Kingdoms are at war.
“The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
