Good. Well, I wonder is there anyone in the world right now doing something which you believe is wrong?

Something you believe. It's just stop doing no matter what they personally believe about that. Is she. Webley believe about its rightness or wrongness

I'm easy think of news headlines what horrendous things are happening the disgusting accounts of Jimmy savile's actions. the full slave accounts in North Korea the migrants found dead in a lorry this week.

They'll be many other things that horrify you they just aren't right. I think that each of us everything about it is clear that we do care about Justice we care about rights in about wrong.

I may want to see that Justice is done.

Last Sunday, we looked at passage of the Bible which was pretty sobering that why she want that the summary is that Jesus told his father. Is that often leaves? He's going to come back to her and judge old people based on the way. We live and place you. Don't let his way that means Justice from him. And he will save all here to trust in him. That's a big claim and someone else we off to the Gathering last week. How could a good God he claims to be forgiving come and judge people in that way?

It's great question, isn't it? If gold is really loving. Why does he bring this judgment on a soul? Why don't just forgive everyone. The only day that God would punish us for our sins is frankly offencive in our society.

But I think it's worth taking a step back from that. We ready identify that we all care about Justice. We just don't like it when I just this is directed at us. We despise the driver speed pasta to breaking the speed limit. Speeding ticket to the door. I will do everything I can to weasel out of it. I think of the child he who tells in his sister saying you mean what's Wilton, but then when he says that same thing the very next day, he denies all knowledge. We didn't like justice when it's directed after. I'm in his judgment go to saying you have done wrong and you deserve punishment for that applies to every single human being.

I guess if you really love someone you will care when they are hurt. You were asked to bring Justice on that the Hoff. And yet let me look around us the well today doesn't seem like justice just doesn't come to those in need.

and the question that for anyone who believes in a God or if I don't who is investigating my God is this Does God even care that he cat?

Jesus carries on teaching his followers in the next section. They were going to look at today going to be looking at Luke chapter 18 verses 18

enjoys make off of read that to us. Jesus tells them his father was a story about someone in desperate need crying out for justice. There's a reason why not try and pick out Jesus answer to this question. Does God even care and it's Luke chapter 18 and that's supposed to meet Paige 1051 in the blue Bibles you have on your chest and it's Luke chapter 18 verses 1 to 8 chapter is the big number number 18 and the little number

Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. He said in a sentence home. There was a judge United field Gordon or cared what people thought? And there was a way to win not telling who kept coming to him with the plea. Me Justice against my advisor City. For some time he refused but finally he said to himself. Even though I doing for your God or care what people think it because this Widow keeps bothering me. I will see that she gets just as soon as she does. She won't eventually come in at like me and the Lord Sate listen to Port the unjust judge says Will not God bring about Justice for his chosen ones required to him day and night really keep putting them off. I tell you he will see that they get Justice and quickly I've ever been the son of man comes will he find faith on the Earth?

Frankie J

Did you just tells a story about two characters or whether she is helpless women in that culture often married as young as 13 or 14 years old so she might not need especially old when her husband died, but she's clearly desperate in some way to do with the inheritance of her that husband the judge. Actually it would have been the closest male relative to her. They would have done that. Answer the fact that she herself is going to fight this case employees. She's got no male relatives left. And I told you I that means there's no one to provide for her. No one to protect her. She is a prime example of someone who is actually desperate. What are the most vulnerable adults in society?

That's why she asks this judge in the town. Give me Justice against my versuri. Help me.

She also asked again and again and again

Should we come to the second character the unjust judge of Jewish law states that people should defend the poor and the Widow to make a big deal. But we need he nor the feared God no care about what people thought. North of the laws of God, no people. status conscious

and it does seem like he's proud of it. Doesn't it? We're even brush for even though I didn't figure I don't care about what people think he likes to doesn't care. He Prides himself on his reputation that he has as harsh and uncaring But he's This Woman's Arnie hurt. And so she keeps your chains in time. And again, I'm a judge eventually breaks.

But because he's just getting irritated. He says yet because this Widow keeps bothering me. I will see she gets justice so that she might eventually come and attack me. Eventually, this will have to attack me is speaking about getting a black eye figuratively speaking someone down emotionally or relationally this like he doesn't care about his reputation. So he's concerned that this woman is going to be some down emotionally like assisting in her quest for justice.

So he pursues Justice for this women not because he cast. baby cozy cast from self

he is helping me unpack the point. He is telling us here and it's actually a bit more complicated than it seems at first person and a contrast. Leslie the comparison between the Widow and the disciple that he's telling the story to the disciples that to be like the Widow in the story. That's why Luke Reitz inverse 1 Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up today to be like Jesus teaching his followers and us today as his followers if we go ourselves that it's a chance to persistent prayer.

Attempting to give up when we don't got the answers. We want stay away when we don't see a meet you at the reservation to Injustice, but he tells him keep praying.

Bestie, I can Patterson secondly a contrast. And it's important to note that this is a contrast. Otherwise, we get a release Ski-Doo of established teaching us the unjust judge in the story is contrasted to go out the just judge verse 7 says this and will not go to bring it out Justice for his chosen ones. You cry out to him day and night. He saying even if it's charged in the story brings Justice, how much more will the good just judge good bring Justice how much more will a good judge bring about Justice for his people?

But raise the question, doesn't it? Let me look around the world with us today and see what's going on. She just knows the world around this isn't fat. So how can you say that God is just Jesus asks the disciples to rhetorical questions. Will God not bring Justice. What do you keep putting them off?

I guess the question is even care about Injustice. If he does then why does he allow such Injustice in this world to carry on? And specifically from this passage. Why does he allow people to be persecuted simply because they all his people Syndicate that Christians That's what poor thing. Had to think about who Jesus speaking to he's just said in the previous passage. There will be a day when these guys long to see one of the days of the son of mine that is they will plead with God for Jesus to return and bring the Justice when she promises. Then invest 7 we see that God's people be crying out to him day and night but Justice the winner is asking for justice against her grocery on Jesus relates this parable of the Widow that his disciples. There is very disciples. He was seeing died for that belief in Jesus because they have passed that beliefs. Tpmg here are facing persecution because they are God's people.

If you're a follower of Jesus yesterday, you may feel unfairly treated by Family by Friends by colleagues. My teachers by co-workers because of your faith. You may feel persecuted. Everyone's situation will be different.

I will have to say in general the in the UK. This is relatively mild. It's not something which means I'm crying out day and night for justice we go to come Chief describing him. I don't actually know a desperate for him to come and just about some point happy things taking a loan out.

I wonder if you are. Do you want Jesus to come back? You pray for that you genuinely and persistently pray for God to bring Justice. Do you really mean it?

Maybe your experience is different. I know there are people in this family. Who do you face daily Injustice? I'm not trying to diminish that. But I suspect the majority of us here today will identify with that but my feelings in some way. So let me introduce you to Hannah and her family if North Korea, they are Christians and they've been taken to a labor camp. These are Hannah's actual words.

We were separated by gender. Why don't you and I will put in the female wing. Who was just a teenager who were put in a cell with males? We were all calls for interrogation of questions. They beat us. So harshly. When there was no interrogation, we had to kneel in ourselves and not speak.

My husband was treated badly. He told the gods that he had become a believer. Lisa he said she had no other choice the Goths threatened to kill his family. He had to tell them the truth. Off to his confession. All four of us will locked up in solitary confinement a small cage. We didn't receive any food or water at would not able to sleep. Christmas in solitary confinement will beaten badly. Nobody dare to resist because you don't need make the torture was. But my husband was different. The more they tortured him the harder. He defended his faith. But each time he spoke out against them. They stripped him of his clothes and beat him up as if he was an animal. Is Flash was tone dripped? But he lost his Consciousness. They woke him up and started again.

I too felt close to dying. I was dehydrated had beaten until I was unconscious to When I woke up, I was dropped back to a regular cell with my daughter at other female inmates. Then they beat me in front of them. All. My daughter could do was cry silently, which she did they at night.

Hannah and her family were crying out to God for help. day and night Has anyone in this situation this week? I've been learning about persecuted Christians throughout the world. I just brought me to tears on several occasions thinking about it. The majority of Christians throughout history on throughout the world today. I'm not comfortable in a livestock. We are they being persecuted fat-face. Dad crying out to God for his Justice.

Come look at this map of the 50 countries in the world where there is hard very high or extreme persecution of Christians by belief. Skating West five years ago anyone country North Korea was in the extreme category. Now today there are 11 countries that fit that category. If I conceived the persecuted church is a normal charge. I miss the world. We in the UK are they normally? Concerts in to this kind of prosecution that Jesus is speaking. The disciples are listening and they will soon die for that beliefs. Just like many people in Hannah's labor camp are dying each day. There are fifty-two seventy thousand Christians imprisoned in North Korea labor camp Siloam. flat face and Jesus in this Parable is teaching them saying don't give up. Keep trusting in my coming Justice.

So does that mean that this still apply to us today in the UK? house fire in the Bible Irate about the global community of Believers, if one part suffers every part suffers with it.

We too should be United with our brothers and sisters around the world. They cry out for justice day and night. I miss you. Join them by praying for God to bring his Justice. We will say to experience Injustice is my lights all sorts of things. I know some healthy face that they lie. We can trust in this tree to that one day. Jesus will make everything right again.

Even when Justice is doesn't appear to come in this life. It will come when Jesus return to Jesus says keep praying.

And yet it just doesn't seem to come visit Jimmy Savile seems to go away with the old. He thought a year before allegations were even raised against him. So does God even care? That's regresate. I tell you he will see that God he will see that they get Justice and quickly. Hotter, when the son of man comes will he find faith on Earth? Jesus points is a cyclist hit us today back to the teaching that he's just giving them which we looked at last week. Yes, God is wonderful a just and he will bring that just as quickly. In that may not seem like it. The. Of suffering for goats people is minuscule compared to Eternity with him.

I'm not Jasmine will be obsolete difference about the unjust judge. That's a huge contrast in this time. It will be a Justice every wrong account for Every Act fairly.

I'm a terrible thing for each of us. That is that each of us full short be found wanting. It's not just the evil out there in North Korea on the news that the problem it's evil in here. in our hearts Harrison Wells from the Russian novelist historian and Nobel Prize winner aleksandr solzhenitsyn

history says If I don't need that White Eagle people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds and it was necessary to separate them from the rest of us and Destroy them. Thought the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of their in off?

Each of us has set forth and done things that we know who owns rights. The same extent as the North Korean guards, but we each full and shores of RN standards how many of each pulling short of God's standards? Dakota sent going to judge all the evil out there. Then he has to judge all the evil in here.

Otherwise, he wouldn't be just on Jesus promises In this passage Justice full wheel Young For Justice. I want Jimmy Savile to face judgment. I want Justice to be done. if I want that then I must also be willing to take it on myself and not as bad news for me. And it's bad news to reach you spell Jesus hints at the hurt that you office in the previous section. We looked at last week.

Is race at invest chapter 17 verse 25 you said but first before Jesus comes back to judge the world. He must suffer and be rejected by people. He's hinting forward from this point to his death in Jerusalem. DC Justice is what he promises any promises. He will be fat and severe. God does care about evil. But because of his love for us, he will judge evil. Announcer got love for us. He will take that judgment on himself, but doesn't wheezes after face. He dies in our place. She just got even care. Yes. Yes, he does care so much that he will bring Justice for his people. I need has so much that he's willing to take that Justice on himself. I'm not at the heart of Jesus mission on his message why he came he is going to come to love his people and take the justice that weed is a volume self answer. No answer. Question were you thinking about he says yes, I do care. I will bring justice, but the question is and this is why he finishes up. The question is when I come back. Will you still have faith in me or will the Injustice as you're facing just now cause you to fall away from the faith in me?

He saying have faith that I will bring Justice have faith in me as you patiently wait for that Justice pray for it to come the system me about your lives sharing that dial phone.

So if you're not a follower of Jesus here today. Think about what that means for you. If you examine yourself, you will see that you fool short of God's standards and urine standards because the higher I need you to find that. What will you do when you face God's judgement?

He is invites you to put your trust in him today on yourself. John himself

if you also when he's done that that my choice that you didn't have to face it. I'm in the trials of this life where Injustice seems to be the norm why things aren't sorted out. Trust God knowing that he will one day make it. All right. Assistant just like he listens the weather. pray for justice I bet he's living in prosecution. See we're going to spend an extended time this evening doing just that you come back at 5 p.m. For eating how we can be praying for them. But you could make shots make more happen Van Buren life as well. And now they taking minutes just as suddenly reflect on what Jesus teaching here means for you. Put some questions on the screen for you to discuss with those around you is the sacrament of yourself to reflect Morgan dining.
