จงรักเพื่อนบ้าน Love Thy Neighbour

TEXT: มาระโก 12:31 /

31 และพระบัญญัติที่สองนั้นก็เป็นเช่นกันคือ `จงรักเพื่อนบ้านเหมือนรักตนเอง' พระบัญญัติอื่นที่ใหญ่กว่าพระบัญญัติทั้งสองนี้ไม่มี"

31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Introduction:

There is an ethic that states that we are to always do only that which shows love. You might ask, what is Ethics? Ethics are the framework that guides how we apply the principles we believe. In part, I agree with this “Love Ethic.” The problem is in how we define LOVE!

Today, I want us to see what Christ meant in this passage, How God defines LOVE, and how we are to apply this principle to our lives.

The Scribe asked for THE GREATEST commandment, but Christ gave him the top 2!

This teaches us several things, but it was also the summary of God’s UNCHANGING MORAL LAW of what is right and what is wrong. If you just consider the 10 Commandments, you will see that those principles are still applicable today. There are parts of the Mosaic Law that were specific to the nation of Israel, but not to us…that means that was not part of God’s morality.

If you think you can love God without loving your fellowman, you become as these scribes and pharisees and priests! We have to understand that loving God will involve obedience to the second command to love others. Love for God MUST have obedience TO God!

ยอห์น 14:15 ถ้าท่านทั้งหลายรักเรา จงรักษาบัญญัติของเรา

If ye love me, keep my commandments.

IF you think you can love man without loving God, you have no idea of what true love is!

You cannot love properly without loving God…

· As a husband or wife;

· As a parent;

· As a friend;

· As a son or daughter to your parents;

3 ความรักคืออะไร What Is Love?

It’s a feeling, right?

It’s a desire, right?

It’s sexual, right?

What are the biblical characteristics of love?

3.1 การให้ Giving

This, I would say, is the primary way of understanding love…it is giving.

3.1.1 พระเจ้าทรงประทานให้กับเรา God gave to us

ยอห์น 3:16-17

16 เพราะว่าพระเจ้าทรงรักโลก จนได้ทรงประทานพระบุตรองค์เดียวของพระองค์ที่บังเกิดมา เพื่อผู้ใดที่เชื่อในพระบุตรนั้นจะไม่พินาศ แต่มีชีวิตนิรันดร์

17 เพราะว่าพระเจ้าไม่ได้ทรงใช้พระบุตรของพระองค์เข้ามาในโลกเพื่อจะพิพากษาโลก แต่เพื่อช่วยโลกให้รอดโดยพระบุตรนั้น

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

3.1.2 เรามอบให้แก่ผู้อื่น We give to others

gives the opposites – To give and serve others is to show love to others; to consume and devour is to be selfish.

กาลาเทีย 5:14-15

14 เพราะว่า พระราชบัญญัติทั้งสิ้นนั้นสรุปได้เป็นคำเดียว คือว่า `จงรักเพื่อนบ้านเหมือนรักตนเอง'

15 แต่ถ้าท่านกัดและกินเนื้อกันและกัน จงระวังให้ดีเกรงว่าท่านจะทำให้กันและกันย่อยยับไป

14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

3.2 ความรักจะพูดความจริง Love Speaks Truth

ความรักคือความซื่อสัตย์ สุจริต

เอเฟซัส 4:15 แต่ให้เราพูดความจริงด้วยใจรักเพื่อจะจำเริญขึ้นทุกอย่างสู่พระองค์ผู้เป็นศีรษะคือพระคริสต์

But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

· We must not lie

· When we speak the truth about hard things, we must do it out of love and not a desire to hurt or harm.

· But, as we speak truth, sometimes it REALLY hurts!!!

3.3 ความรักคือบางสิ่ง Love IS certain things

อดทนนาน, กระทำคุณให้, ความถ่อมใจ / Longsuffering, Kind, & Humble

1 โครินธ์ 13:4 ความรักนั้นก็อดทนนานและกระทำคุณให้ ความรักไม่อิจฉา ความรักไม่อวดตัว ไม่หยิ่งผยอง

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

A person who is impatient, unkind and brags about themselves and desires honor from others…that person is not a loving person, so the Bible says…

3.4 ความรักไม่ได้เป็นบางสิ่งอื่น ๆ Love IS NOT other things

Inappropriate, Selfish, and Uncontrolled in Emotions and Evil in Thoughts

1โครินธ์ 13:5 ไม่ทำสิ่งที่ไม่บังควร ไม่คิดเห็นแก่ตนเองฝ่ายเดียว ไม่ฉุนเฉียว ไม่ช่างจดจำความผิด

Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

3.5 กฎทองคำ The Golden Rule

มัทธิว 7:12 /

มัทธิว 7:12 เหตุฉะนั้น สิ่งสารพัดซึ่งท่านปรารถนาให้มนุษย์ทำแก่ท่าน จงกระทำอย่างนั้นแก่เขาเหมือนกัน เพราะว่านี่คือพระราชบัญญัติและคำของศาสดาพยากรณ์

Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

· Lying

· Adultery

· Unforgiveness

· Malice

· Covetousness – this leads to manipulation to get what we want.

· Envy/Emulations –

· Heresies – false teaching for the purpose of gathering a following to oneself.

4 คำแนะนำในการรักเพื่อนบ้านของเจ้า Guidelines for Loving Thy Neighbour

It Must Show Love for God First

You cannot break God’s rules to show love to another person. If you do, you do not love that person.

What does this mean?

4.1 เจตนาของเราคือการทำให้พระเจ้าพอพระทัย Our Intent is to please God, first

4.2 การกระทำของเราต้องทำให้พระเจ้าเป็นที่พอใจก่อน Our Actions please God, first

4.3 เราต้องเชื่อฟังพระวจนะของพระเจ้าก่อน Our Obedience is to Scripture, God’s Word, first

· Society wants to say that it is immoral to contradict society

o LGBTQ+

o Marriage & Morality

o Raising Children and even having children

o Drugs & Alcoholic drinks

o Honesty & Corruption

Conclusion:

This has to be understood in the right context…At the beginning, we looked at , now let’s go back and close with looking at the verse just before and just after those 2…

13 พี่น้องทั้งหลาย ที่ทรงเรียกท่านก็เพื่อให้มีเสรีภาพ อย่าเอาเสรีภาพของท่านเป็นช่องทางที่จะปล่อยตัวไปตามเนื้อหนัง แต่จงรับใช้ซึ่งกันและกันด้วยความรักเถิด

16 แต่ข้าพเจ้าขอบอกว่า จงดำเนินชีวิตตามพระวิญญาณและท่านจะไม่สนองความต้องการของเนื้อหนัง

13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
