Has there been any of the foundations that Scott has talked about, that you have learned something new, or that the Lord has revealed himself through the Word in a clearer way? Scott stated at the beginning of the sermon, that a key doctrine that we hold to, is that you are not able to come before the throne of grace (access God) apart from Jesus Christ. How is this different then what most of the World talks like?
In the sermons on Sunday, Scott is making sure that he is speaking to the body of Christ, the church, but also impressing the individual human that makes up the body of Christ. Why is this an important distinction? ()
