here God has used the people to supply paul with the things he needed for his ministry.

dont rob people of a blessing or blessing you

I can do all things, but only through Christ who strengthens me

does this mean touchdowns and grand slams.

Gods not busy worrying about which team wins the super bowl

what God does is gets himself in fellowship with the individual, through the fellowship of prayer, church and scripture reading MVPs can also be men of God. doing all things isnt becoming millionaires or president of united states. those things wont get you crowns in heaven. so when paul says you can do all things hes focusing on eternal matters not worldly matters

Paul is letting them know that the money is appreciated but that it wasnt for the money

several years ago we decided to stop giving to the sbc because of their liberal views. since then it has gotten worse.

we see Gods provision here

Philippi supported paul the missionary

We arent in unity with the way the sbc is being ran and we havent been for years now

Philippians 1:27 ESV

I would recommend we cut ties with the sbc for the time being. pray and consider the direction we would like to go. if at anytime this is seems to not be working then we can always rejoin.

The southern baptist doesnt define us but baptist does.
