When it comes to the point of worship, we are talking about the time that is spent giving honor and homage to someone/something.
To worship properly, it will take time… and a lot of it.
Some have even said that you can tell what a person truly worships by looking at where they invest his or her time.
In the song we just sang, we asked the question, “Is He worthy?” speaking about Jesus.
Is Jesus worthy of our worship and the time it takes to properly give that worship to Him?
This is what we want to look at as we continue our series through the New Testament book of Acts that we are calling Unhindered.
We are going to look at and see four times when Jesus is worthy of our worship.
[PRAYER]
Jesus is worthy of worship in times of increase.

Acts 16:1-
Paul and his new missions partner, Silas, go out on another mission trip.
As they come to the towns of Derbe and Lystra, they meet a young man named Timothy.
Paul brought Timothy onto their team and began taking him along with the rest of this trip.
This is the same Timothy that would go on to become the pastor of the church at Ephesus and to whom Paul would write two letters to that are found in the New Testament.
This team would visit many churches and see the gospel do its work in these areas.
God brought a new member to the team.
This is exciting times.
This would mean that there would be more resources available to do the work that was hand.
This seems to be one of those times where it is easy to worship the Lord.
We see that He is blessing, and times are good.
There is a word of caution here though.
In the times of increase when things seem to be going so well, we can be tempted to make our worship of the Lord a “tip of the hat” more than what is worthy.
It is in the times of plenty that we can have the tendency to get lazy and comfortable.
If God has us in a time of increase and blessing, we should definitely come to Him in worship becaues we realize that “every good and perfect gift comes from the Father of lights” ().

As Paul and the team experience some good times, they seek to go into areas they had not been and take the gospel to them.
This is a good idea.
This is what we as Christians are called to do.
The only problem is that we see through these verses that the Holy Spirit prohibited them from do what they wanted to do.
Was there something sinful with their desire to take the gospel to these areas?
Not really… other than God had another plan.
God will answer our prayers and requests with either a “yes”, “no”, or “wait.”
We sometimes think that when God says, “no”, that He has not answered our prayers.
He has answered; just not the way that we wanted.
This can bring about times of
