God Bless each and everyone of you, and thank you for joining us here @ Word of Life, we know you could be anywhere this afternoon but we’re glad that you chose to be with us.
Let’s Pray
Repeat after Me
A Warriors Confession
I AM,
Somebody…
I AM,
A Warrior…
Therefore I AM,
Victorious…
And that’s because I AM,
A child of God!!!
Joke:
Little Timmy came home from school one day, a little down and upset.
His mother asked “whats wrong Little Timmy”
He replied “My girlfriend just broke up with me.”
“I tried to tell you that you were to young for a grilfried, what happened?”
“Well aparently I ruined her birthday, and I’m not sure how I did that-I didnt even know it was her birthday...”
Intro: We had a beautiful service last week with “The Miracle Project Offering.”
Today we will close off our series “Live to Give”.
This will be the last sermon on giving, so if you have felt uncomfortable, on this month don’t worry after today it’s over.
But I want to back up the importance of giving one last time.
If you were to look at your life, all the years of living and asked yourself this quetion, what would that look like.
I will being you
And the question is this, How Much have you given?
I’m not just talking about the Miracle Project Offering, Im talking, how much have you given to God and the things of God?
Story: You know I often do weddings.
And it’s funny to me because you know who they want to pay the least?
It’s me, the one who is officiating the ceremony, the one who is bringing God into their marriage.
People will have no problem renting a hall for a couple thousand, paying thousands for the cake, and food, and decor.
But only want to give me 50-100 for blessing their marriage before God, which is the true meaning of a wedding.
When it comes to God, we refrain, we stop ourselves from giving.
People will pay their photograper more than they will pay me.
Now understand something here, this isn’t about me.
What this is about, is showing you peoples priorities, and our thoughts and our feelings when it comes to giving to God.
