Living It Out & Next Steps
The mystery is Christ is in you if you know Jesus as Lord. If not, the first step is to submit to Jesus as Lord, accept His grace. If this is true reflect, and share with someone, how Christ has helped you in life.
We need to be in community with others. List the ways you live in community with those outside your family.
Where are you feeling pain? Anxiety, depression, conflict with family or friends, need to be right, unforgiveness, resentment, spiritual pain, anger, financial, debt, etc. One of the first steps is to acknowledge the pain. Secondly, if able take the pain to Christ for his redemption. Thirdly, share with a trusted Christian, counselor or Pastor.
Salvation is for everyone! How can we share Jesus with those not like us?
Christ calls us to be with other Christians. Which of the following do you need to commit to?
-Be a member of a local church, commit formally!
-Join a Bible Study group!
-Be part of a Sunday School class or youth group!
How could your agony and suffering help someone else?
Reflect and pray about how your comfort is hindering
Christ in you.
Read and reflect on Romans 8 this week. What stuck out to you? Share your thoughts with someone.
What read of life will you allow Christ to make you uncomfortable for His Gospel? Where is the church too comfortable and possibly missing Jesus’ call?
