that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us;

that is, that I may be encouraged together with you while among you, each of us by the other’s faith, both yours and mine.

We can’t approach Him
We can’t grow in Him
Isaiah 64:6 NASB95
For all of us have become like one who is unclean, And all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment; And all of us wither like a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.
Isaiah 64:
1 Corinthians 2:14 NASB95
But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised.

Growing Completely

1) Nurture your new Nature

1 John 3:9 NASB95
No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

2) Lose yourself

Mark 8:35 NASB95
“For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.

You are Complete and you have all you need to mature

Colossians 2:10 NASB95
and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority;
Colosians 2:10
Hebrews 10:14–17 NASB95
For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified. And the Holy Spirit also testifies to us; for after saying, This is the covenant that I will make with them After those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws upon their heart, And on their mind I will write them,” He then says, And their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”
Hebrews

New Things are coming

A new struggle
A new appetite

The Struggle

Romans 7:15-
Romans 7:15–17 NASB95
For what I am doing, I do not understand; for I am not practicing what I would like to do, but I am doing the very thing I hate. But if I do the very thing I do not want to do, I agree with the Law, confessing that the Law is good. So now, no longer am I the one doing it, but sin which dwells in me.

This Appetite

Hebrews 10:14-
Hebrews 10:14–16 NASB95
For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified. And the Holy Spirit also testifies to us; for after saying, This is the covenant that I will make with them After those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws upon their heart, And on their mind I will write them,” He then says,
