It’s Your Choice

Kidz World Today - Children’s Church
Mark 9:23 NKJV
23 Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
Confession of Faith
I am not moved by what I see or by what I feel. I am moved by what I believe. I believe the WORD of God! The victory is mine! I have it now! I can see it through the eyes of my faith!

It’s Your Choice

Have you ever asked the question “I wonder when God is going to do something about this problem”
I’ve come to realize the answer to that question depends on You
Mark 5:22–24 NLT
22 Then a leader of the local synagogue, whose name was Jairus, arrived. When he saw Jesus, he fell at his feet, 23 pleading fervently with him. “My little daughter is dying,” he said. “Please come and lay your hands on her; heal her so she can live.” 24 Jesus went with him, and all the people followed, crowding around him.
Mark 5:22-24
Backdrop:
After Peter walked on water and Jesus told the winds and rains and the choppy sea that the disciples were to Have peace and Be still - the arrived on the other side of the sea. Immediately a demon possessed man living among the tombs in the area met Jesus - Long story short - he casts the legion of demons out of the man and into some pigs! The local residents get nervous and ask Jesus to leave!
So Jesus has to get back in the boat cross over to the other side - where a great crowd was there to meet him
Mark 5:22–24 The Message
22 One of the meeting-place leaders named Jairus came. When he saw Jesus, he fell to his knees, 23 beside himself as he begged, “My dear daughter is at death’s door. Come and lay hands on her so she will get well and live.” 24 Jesus went with him, the whole crowd tagging along, pushing and jostling him.

It’s Your Choice

The woman with the issue of Blood made a choice

Mark 5:25 NLT
25 A woman in the crowd had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding.
mark 5
Mark 5:26–34 NLT
26 She had suffered a great deal from many doctors, and over the years she had spent everything she had to pay them, but she had gotten no better. In fact, she had gotten worse. 27 She had heard about Jesus, so she came up behind him through the crowd and touched his robe. 28 For she thought to herself, “If I can just touch his robe, I will be healed.” 29 Immediately the bleeding stopped, and she could feel in her body that she had been healed of her terrible condition. 30 Jesus realized at once that healing power had gone out from him, so he turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my robe?” 31 His disciples said to him, “Look at this crowd pressing around you. How can you ask, ‘Who touched me?’ ” 32 But he kept on looking around to see who had done it. 33 Then the frightened woman, trembling at the realization of what had happened to her, came and fell to her knees in front of him and told him what she had done. 34 And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace. Your suffering is over.”

Have Faith

Mark 5:35
Mark 5:35–36 NLT
35 While he was still speaking to her, messengers arrived from the home of Jairus, the leader of the synagogue. They told him, “Your daughter is dead. There’s no use troubling the Teacher now.” 36 But Jesus overheard them and said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid. Just have faith.”

It’s Your Choice

Deuteronomy 30:19 NKJV
19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;
Deut
Jeremiah 17:5–8 NLT
5 This is what the Lord says: “Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the Lord. 6 They are like stunted shrubs in the desert, with no hope for the future. They will live in the barren wilderness, in an uninhabited salty land. 7 “But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. 8 They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.

It’s Your Choice

The two commandments
Luke 10:27 NLT
27 The man answered, “ ‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.’ And, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ ”
Luke 10
Jeremiah 29:11 NLT
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
