In the multitude of words sin is not lacking,
But he who restrains his lips is wise.

27 He who has knowledge spares his words,

And a man of understanding is of a calm spirit.

27 He who has knowledge spares his words,

And a man of understanding is of a calm spirit.

He who has knowledge spares his words,
He who has knowledge spares his words,
And a man of understanding is of a calm spirit.

c. Slow to wrath.
A quick-tempered man acts foolishly,
And a man of wicked intentions is hated
He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty,
He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty,
And he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city

9. We end with James saying that “ for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God”.
I like how one of my commentaries put it.
Simply put “Anger fails to yield the righteous life that God desires”.
