Peace between God and Man

We are also lacking personal peace in who we are and our role in God’s world.

Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, obowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. 17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. 18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. 20

14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: 15

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace,

Whose mind is stayed on thee:

Because he trusteth in thee.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Look at different identities. Race, Gender, Musician, Athlete, Scholar, Jobs, Religions, Roles (father, friend, student), They don’t have any meaningful significance without first having our soul’s identity in Christ.
They don’t have any meaning without having our identity in Christ.
According to Isaiah 26:3 this verse, in what ways can peace be passed from God to us? What’s one way that God gives us his peace?
Even tho its important to always be thinking God thoughts. The only way to obtain that peace is through trusting in him. To trust him to give us peace in our every day life, we must first trust in him to take away our sins. Realizing that nothing we identify as, nothing we own, no special works, are able to to save us. They certainly don’t give us peace in who we are.
According to , can the world give us temporary peace? How is Jesus’ peace any different? How?
How is Jesus’ peace any different? How?
The thing to realize here is that the world has something that it calls “peace” but is really just a short term, shallow happiness.
Gimmicks like my salt gun for flies. Its a cheap toy!
My knife. Some knife are really just cheap dull, inexpensive toys.
We settle for the world’s cheapness when Christ and His Word are full of promises. We don’t want to be identified as the teenager, coworker, son, daughter, friend who is totally or even partly belong to the world. We should be totally at peace with who we are in Christ.
My knife. Some knife are really just cheap dull, inexpensive toys.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
My knife. Some knife are really just cheap dull, inexpensive toys.
This verse tells us that the Peace of God is a gift.
Be content and satisfied in God’s peace that he gives. Let Christ’s peace be a huge part of who you are.
