Turning Point in the game

SA just had more of a vision during the game when we equalised they kept their eyes and their team focussed on winning.

They wanted to win the Game to show their Country their is hope

SA are going through Change and are trying to build a succesful country.

By winning yesterday they have instilled Hope into their Country.

Thats what we are doing here in Rayleigh, we as a church are instilling Hope into a town that needs hope.

In such uncertain times us we as a church need to bring Hope into this Town.

We can start to do this by Vision.

Lets today instill Vision into this Church.

Mother Theresa went to the people she cared deeply for the people

She just wanted to show them Gods love

She was a complete different religion to the people of Calcutter

There was a lot of political unrest in Calcutter at the time Mother Theresa was there yet she was not concerned in it she just wanted to help the poor

To show them the love of Christ.

When she was told by the monesty to stop caring for the people she said no

She said no because she knew she was the only person caring for these people

She knew that the church was too concerned about its position and its building to care for the people

She went through a Political Barrier, a Religious Barriers, to show people the Love of Christ

She did not care for politics or relgion she only cared to show people the love of Christ.

In a world that we are in right now we as a church must be like this.

We must not worry about barriers but go through them so that we can help people

So that we can show people in our modern world Christs Love

To help people get back on their feet

To get down and dirty with the people

For far too long the Church here in Essex has been concerned about its image and its relgion and its tradition

Yet Jesus has no concerns for that

We must go through all those barriers to sit with the people and Love them

but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

God the father Loves us all no matter what

He loves people that do not know him or even know of His love

God is like a golden spirit the finest you will ever encounter

His like the best Choclate that you will ever eat

His love is like the vast oceans that go for ever

Its something we will never finish understanding whilst still alive today

We must go beyond the barriers of todays society and show them christs love

Today we have schools dicatating sex of children

Today we have a country diveded in Two or some may argue in many

We have a town that doesn’t understand God’s love

Why because they have never seen an example of God’s Love

We live in a world that if you are to recieve something then some thing must be given back by you to someone or someone else.

We live in a society that says nothing is for free

Yet we are to know differently.

We have the opportunity as a church to show these people something different

Something completly new

You are told to live your best life

You are told to go after what ever you want yet keep up with the image of everyone else

Keep up with the better looking mums

The Dads with the Nicer Cars

The Kids with the nicer clothes

Keep up with the image of celebrities on exclusive holidays or beskpoke days out

Keep up with the people that are setting the trend

So what happens when you fall short

When you dont quite make it

When you dont quite match up to the image that society is presenting

What happens then

Do they turn around and help?

Do they turn around to give a hand?

Do they advertise to put people before themselves?

is their Vision to help others?

No its to only benifit them selves

Yet this is our Vision

To help people when they cant afford the lifestyle

To help show people there is a different way

You dont have to follow them

You can come and follow Christ

He doesnt setup hurdles to jump

You dont have to look or act any certain way

You can just be who you were born to be

Who God made you to be, before you were even born.

You dont have to match up to anything

Christ Loves you no matter what

That is what our Job is as a church

As a community of people that meet together

To help people find Christ for themselves
