What is Being Anointed

The Definition of being Anointed is to dedicate to the service of God. God chose many of people in the old testament to anoint. In which a ceremony would then happen where they poured oil over some to declare their service to God.
Being anointed is a symbol of consecration . it is a sign of a promise with God to serve.
In we see that Jesus is talking here saying the spirit of the Lord is on him. and it was the Spirit of God that Dedicated his service to God.
(CSB)
COMMISSIONING THE TWELVE
7 He summoned the Twelve and began to send them out in pairs and gave them authority over unclean spirits.
Jesus Himself Gave us the Authority over the the Unclean.
He not only gave dedicated us to serve God but also gave us the power to do Gods will.

Proof of Anointing

What do we do about it

so the Question comes to what are we going to do about it? what are we Suppose to do about it? Not only did Jesus Volunteer us for such a vital role of Serving God, he explain exactly how he wants us to do it .
Matthew 28:18–20 CSB
Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
He wants us to make Disciples just as he did. is it hard to go out and Evangelize yes it is but the part that should be focus on in this passage is the part that states that He will be with us throughout everything. that mean no matter the trial or pain that comes our way he is feeling it with us and we are to remember that he went through it first .
