Is prayer reactionary? Just when the doctor calls?
How much time do you spend talking with God?

2. He was filled up. (2:4)

Acts 2:4 NKJV
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure.
b.
Do you pray for the filling of the Spirit?
Do you try to be led by the Spirit?

3. He spoke up. (2:14)

Acts 2:14 NKJV
But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words.
a.
Luke 12:11–12 NKJV
“Now when they bring you to the synagogues and magistrates and authorities, do not worry about how or what you should answer, or what you should say. For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.”
b.
Acts 1:8 NKJV
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
We struggle to witness because we fail to spend time talking with God! We operate of self and not the Spirit!
