Repent (change the inner man to meet God’s will) and do the works you did previously [when first you knew the Lord], or else I will visit you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you change your mind and repent.

48 But the one who did not know, and did what deserved a beating, will receive a light beating. Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more.

And they said, “Let us rise up and build.” So they strengthened their hands for the good work.

6 So we built the wall. And all the wall was joined together to half its height, for the people had a mind to work.
