English Standard Version Chapter 16
25 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them, 26 and suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken. And immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone’s bonds were unfastened.

vs 6-9 prevented them from going to Asia redirected them to Philippi
direct you where you sometimes don’t want to go
Mathew 2:12 save you from eminent danger (make it a practice to heed the voice of the Holy Spirit)
Mathew 1:20 will nudge you to do what you genuinely don’t want to do
1. guide you into all truth 2. Make known Gods will 3. give you Revelation
Paul & Silas find themselves in Philippi as a result of following the leading and guiding of the Holy Spirit
according to vs. 13 the first thing the do is find out where prayer is going on (NOT TO SOLICIT, BUT TO PARTICIPATE)
This is important if your going to be sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit.
It’s vitally important for Paul & Silas because if they gonna have success and PEACE about this mission … they gonna have to be led of the HOLY Spirit
NOTE: Paul & Silas are headed to an environment thats unwelcoming and they get treated harshly
The success of their mission can’t be measured solely by their process but its measured by the outcome
That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is
