It was in the 1500’s that we had the “age of exploration”. Only in the late 1800’s did we get a grasp of what happened in antiquity of Egypt and Mesopotamia.
THe result, we uncover knowledge that is not in the bible. For over 1000 years we had only one source of knowledge, the bible. So now we have to ask, how do we think about the truth claims of the bible.
