Jesus told us to take sin seriously.

He said looking on a woman and lusting after her was adultery.

Disliking your brother was likened to murder.

Saying you know Him and not doing what he says is lieing.

Better to have a millstone tied to your neck than make someone stumble

Sin Will Take You Farther Than You Want To Go, Keep You Longer Than You Want To Stay, And Cost You More Than You Want To Pay

Lot’s daughters compromise

Esau compromises for a bowl of soup

Samson in the Valley or Sorek and talking to women he had no business being with cost him his vision.

What Is Sin?

Missing the mark - hamartia

Doing something you aren’t supposed to do. - Commission

Not doing something you are supposed to do. - Omission -

Strong Believers

Must Be Longsuffering With Weaker Believers

Mindful of how their freedom affects unbelievers

Give God time to work on less mature.

Better to not offend a younger believer.
